Dear Internet,
Many of you know I kept a second newsletter for my writing stuff (what I was working on, what I’ve seen, etc ad naseum) because I wrote a lot about it here on AMUN that breaking it out seemed to be the best way as to not bore you.
Which was fine and good until I came to the conclusion that I was setting content over at AMUN anyway due to the larger audience rather than filtering it with Lisa Writes Stuff.
LWS is only 20 issues in and as I was writing Issue #21 this morning, I made the rash decision to move LWS to AMUN and ditch the LWS newsletter pronto.
So I did. I imported the subscriber list over (only a few email addresses weren’t on AMUN so they’re new here. Hi!) and the post archive which is now intermingled with AMUN archive.
Everything is now here at AMUN!
Here’s the schedule:
Sunday: A Most Unreliable Narrator (primary newsletter)
Monday: 51 Stories in 51 Weeks (short project)
Alternating Wednesdays: One week Lisa Writes Stuff; other week Blotter updates
For the next year-ish, that’s three newsletters a week.
I know it’s a lot to ask your readers to read so much which is why each issue will continue to have its own subject line so you can filter out what you don’t want to read. Each issue varies in length. AMUN is typically 1500 -1700 words, 51 Stories is 51 words, and LWS hovers around 700 - 1000 words if this helps in decision making.
The issues continue to be cross-posted on social media (Facebook, Mastodon, and Bluesky) if that’s your jam.
Anyway, that’s me!
Thanks for being amazing internet friends with benefits!
