12:11 a.m. — Bingham Township — Headlights and someone going up back steps to his house. He is watching on the camera.
7:49 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Disgruntled employee. Trespassed.
8:16 a.m. — Leland Township — Cat was attacked by another cat that broke through caller’s screen door.
Thursday, June 16
8:40 a.m. — Empire Township — At the Gerry Lake just south of the county line. Horse got loose and is at large.
9:22 a.m. — Bingham Township — Man with black and white dog was asked to leave with his dog. He became agitated and unruly. (Law enforcement made contact. He was just trying to get his dog in the water and was unaware of the restrictions.)
2:37 p.m. — Empire Township — Palomino running on the road. No saddle or halter. Near 72. Now running west.
8:49 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller having an ongoing issues with her neighbor installing docks on her property. She has had surveys done already. Neighbor is aware of what the property lines are. She is asking for advice of what to do next.)
10:32 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller lives in Indiana. His son is staying up here for the summer and he has not heard from him for hours, which is unusual. His phone’s location is showing that he is at the beach south of Fishtown. (Caller heard from him. He is back in the vehicle and heading home now.)
Friday, June 17
9:20 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller thinks that someone is trying to break into her white Kia Soul.
10:18 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Burgundy suitcase left in the woods.
10:43 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Customer is very angry and will not leave the post office.
5:19 p.m. — Bingham Township — Unwanted male at winery. (Law enforcement trespassed him from the location.)
Saturday, June 18
2:31 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Male tried to get into housing unit. Came to the door wearing a black hoodie. Then went back to truck. Has gotten in and out multiple times. (Per law enforcement, male attempted to open the wrong door. Was supposed to be next door at a party.)
11:13 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Two vehicles parking in caller’s driveway so he blocked them with his tractor.
6:38 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township —Family trouble. Red Charger pulled up in front of residence, attacked caller’s son and then left.
Sunday, June 19
10:11 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Juveniles on motorbikes on the ski hill and all over. They come from the golf course in the Sugar Loaf area.
Monday, June 20
2:55 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Dog in white Audi. (Per animal control, all four windows are cracked. Dog has water in the car and he is not showing signs of distress. Caller advised to call back later if the vehicle is still there and the dog looks to be in trouble.)
8:39 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Young man fell off bike.
10:30 p.m. — Empire Township — Two adults went down. The caller is 13 and an 8-year-old also went down the bluff. Adults are out of sight. Phone light is all they have. (Family has been reunited. All clear.)
Wednesday, June 22
5:23 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller hit either a donkey, pony or bull. Animal doesn’t appear to be injured.
8:12 p.m.— Suttons Bay Township — Caller wanted to report a man who was acting really creepy to one of the female staff. He kept trying to get her to come out to his car and look at his dogs. Also asking other questions about her age. Caller thought it was not appropriate and wanted to report it.
Thursday, June 23
5:12 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller states she woke up suddenly to someone knocking on her front door. Caller looked around outside and did not see any cars or people. Now that it is light outside and she is awake, she does not need a response but was advised to call back if she sees or hears anything else. (Law enforcement did a walk around. No footprints or signs of anyone walking the trail.)
10:34 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s parents are being harassed by neighbors regarding the stream on their property. Caller wanted information on how to proceed.
6:05 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller is being harassed by her neighbor who is mad because caller smokes marijuana in her condo. Neighbor can smell it and doesn’t like it. (Civil issue. No harassment. Will have to take up with homeowners association.)
Friday, June 24
10:25 a.m. — Kasson Township — Cow on the side of the road.
1:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Man wearing shorts, a green T-shirt, no shoes and orange beard has been in the store several times today buying 20 oz. beers. On his fourth trip he was denied the purchase because staff believed he was intoxicated. He became belligerent with staff and left the store heading toward the alley.
Saturday, June 25
1:09 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Party noise coming from residence. Caller does not need to be seen. (Contact made with party. Advised them to turn the music down and they will.)
12:26 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller lost on the dunes. Location established. Caller is in good health and an avid hiker. She is going to stay in one sport and Park Service will launch their own vehicle to assist her. (Ranger arrived on foot to location. Provided water. No medical issues. Ranger took her back to meet her husband.)
Sunday, June 26
6:03 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone ran into caller’s boat. Then loaded boat on his trailer and departed the marina.
7:09 p.m. — Empire Township — Union Street is blocked off for an unauthorized block party in the area. Township clerk confirmed that there is no authorized block party. (Homeowners took down barricade.)
7:38 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Half hour ago, a family was at the bottom (of the dune) and appeared to be struggling to get back up. (No one in distress).
Monday, June 27
10:05 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone driving through town towing a boat. Boat got caught on the cable line and it was taken down. The driver continued onward.
10:26 a.m. — Leland Township — Leland Township — Woman let her black dog out to scare caller because she doesn’t want anyone to walk on the private road. An ongoing issue with the dog not being on a leash.
1:21 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone is shooting in the area. Bullets are coming onto caller’s property. Shooting coming from the northwest. (Per law enforcement, they are packing up targets and will be leaving.)
2:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s dad left a message that he had to burn his phone and dump it because he was being watched. Got a new phone but hasn’t called his son yet. Caller requests a welfare check. (Contact made. Giving a call on the new phone.)
6:39 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller accidentally left his license at gas station a couple days ago. One of the workers put it in the cash register. Now the caller is back and the workers are saying that it is not there anymore and they don’t have it.
Wednesday, June 29
2:11 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller said she was wrongfully evicted from her housing situation. (Determined by law enforcement to be a civil issue).
2:22 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Small brush fire on back woods of neighborhood.
4:28 p.m. — Empire Township — Neighbor’s dog has been barking for five hours. Dog doesn’t typically bark.
5:16 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Contractor speeding on Nanagosa on purpose to upset caller. Requests patrols between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
10:47 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male yelling profanities for the last 10 minutes. Sounds aggressive. No description. Blue Yukon parked adjacent to caller’s boat. (Individual is OK. He was verbalizing his frustrations. He will finish his soda and be on his way.)
Thursday, June 30
2:20 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Bear in the campsite. Can hear it now. Caller and 12-year-old daughter in tent. Vehicle is close to the tent. (Advised to use the car alarm to try to scare it off and given a potential arrival time for deputy. Called back to say they are now safe in their vehicle.)
Friday, July 1
10:04 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone has been using the debit card of her mother while she was in the hospital. Once her mother passed, she was asked to get her things out of her mother’s home. When caller went back in she noticed items had been taken.
11:31 a.m. — Solon Township — Light brown cow in the roadway.
Saturday, July 2
12:44 a.m.— Leland Township — There’s a man outside screaming. Wearing a white T-shirt and black pants. Caller was advised they locked themselves inside but the subject is still outside screaming. (Drunk driving arrest made, per law enforcement.)
9:57 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller left home at 7:30 this morning. Returned home to find door open, cat in garage. Shades up and rugs moved. Nothing is missing. (Per law enforcement, it was a cleaning service for the windows and accidentally went to the wrong house.)
12:25 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Subject walking south long the shoreline. Park ranger made contact with patient. She is OK. Ranger is walking out with her. Subject is being evaluated by emergency medical service.
1:36 p.m. — Solon Township — Domestic. Nine-year-old said his parents aren’t home and his 13-year-old brother “beat him up.”
3:56 p.m. — Empire Township — Larceny from a self-serve stand. Lady stole $59 worth of produce and only put $8 in the can.
3:59 p.m. —Elmwood Township — Man on caller’s property. Says it belongs to him. Man departed from the scene, mentioned Suttons Bay. (Per law enforcement, man was parked on the east side of the highway walking to the air show. He didn’t want to leave before the finish. That’s where the disagreement stemmed. He has not department.)
5:17 p.m. — Leland Township — Potential illegal activity with one guy with a pitbull. Looks like a meth head and a Hispanic girl with bags of clothes moving stuff out of the unit or into it. Caller isn’t sure why dispatch needs to ask all the questions.
6:42 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Son is manic and episodic. May be very intoxicated. Wants him taken in under Baker Act.
11:30 p.m. — Leland Township — Neighbors across the street are sitting in car with blaring music. (Caller called back. They have now left.)
Sunday, July 3
1:31 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Very loud party going on next door. Caller would like it quieted down. Caller called back to advise the party has moved inside and has quieted down.
2:41 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Brown Subaru on Pierce Stocking Drive. (Per law enforcement, subject is a photographer taking pictures of the stars.)
5:17 p.m. — Kasson Township — Male lying in the middle of the road.
Monday, July 4
9:01 a.m. — Bingham Township —Large American flag suspended over Maple Valley Road. Caller thinks it looks dangerous. (Deputy rode through the area. Someone there is displaying his patriotism and it does not pose a hazard.)
9:46 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller says someone has been breaking into his house. Went out to his shed this morning and came back in the house and his wallet, keys and phone have been stolen. Caller suspects his neighbors. Caller states he is being watched all the time.
8:45 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is getting text message from two brothers who have been getting confrontational. Nothing mention physical tonight. Both have been drinking and screaming at neighbors. (Subject said he has been drinking but is not extremely drunk. There has been no fighting. Stated he didn’t want to talk to anyone.)
Tuesday, July 5
5:34 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male in his early 20s is lying in the roadway. Appears injured and has been drinking. Patient's eyes are open and he is breathing. Not alert. Patient is now on the shoulder of the road. (Taken into custody for operating while intoxicated.
Wednesday, July 6
2:38 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller has been dealing with an ongoing trespassing issue and now the person has started calling the landline late at night and harassing the caller that way.
8:34 a.m. — Centerville Township — Six cattle in the road.
8:55 p.m. — Leland Township — Patron locked out of room and can’t get a hold of anyone. (Caller was finally able to get a new key.)
9:26 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Man approached caller about 20 minutes ago asking him if he could have his birch trees. Says a couple days ago he did the same thing to his buddy. Big beard, 5’7”, probably 65-years-old. Driving a silver Honda or small car. Doesn’t want to be seen. Just wanted to pass the information along.
Thursday, July 7
6:24 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller recently moved in. Today, caller was at work and roommate went into the caller’s room and stole her things. She is now yelling at the caller and telling her she needs to get out.
6:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller is having an ongoing issue with her neighbor to the south. They have been arguing over property line issues and the neighbor is now putting stakes in the ground on the caller’s property acting like it is his. The caller has had the land surveyed and the neighbor took out the “official” property markers that we put in. (Civil issue per law enforcement.)
Friday, July 8
7:50 a.m. — Centerville Township — Cow in the road.
5:28 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s dog started barking. Cat door goes to enclosed patio and saw someone running down the drive. Gate was open and cat door was broken off. Caller requests extra patrols.
6:26 p.m. — Bingham Township — Son sold a vehicle to a 16-year-old male from Bellaire. Buyer is now unhappy with the purchase. Boy’s father is now threatening him via text saying “Lock your doors.” Would like to speak with an officer about it.
Saturday, July 9
12:40 a.m. — Elmwood Township — 8 p.m., two males from a neighboring boat came over and said there was a male dressed in green camo with long, brown greasy hair hiding in neighbors’ bushes and left with something in his hand. (Law enforcement checked the area. Nothing found.)
2:08 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller reports people right outside the window. She doesn’t know what they are doing and she is scared. She believes she hears two males and one female. Unable to make out what they are saying. (Law enforcement checked out. Unable to locate subjects.)
8:19 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller worked with a subject who is now spreading rumors that they have been together.
3:04 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller’s dog ran off on June 30. Originally believed the dog was lost. But due to the length she has been gone, caller now believes she was stolen. American Staffordshire terrier.
5:29 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Husband is not acting right.
6:34 p.m. — Leland Township — Lost regular size white envelope with “Henry” written on it. Ripped open around 3 p.m. in Fishtown.
6:44 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Lost wedding ring in the grass.
9:06 p.m. — Kasson Township — Many cats and kittens around residence and they don’t look like they are being cared for at all.
Sunday, July 10
12:38 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Lots of noise coming from a bar/restaurant. Consistently loud for hours. (Deputy spoke to management. They are closed now for the evening. There was a large group that is now broken up and dispersed.)
5:31 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Theft of a $200 scarf. Has subject on video.
5:50 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Forty to 50-yearold male with a group of 11 or so 17-year-old girls taking their pictures. (There will be professional photographers taking pictures of women on the beach in case there are more calls on it.)
9:27 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Mother, father and child on the beach. Caller asked them to leave because the beach access is closed. They started yelling at the caller and wouldn’t leave. (Caller reported the subjects left when they were told law enforcement was called.)
Monday, July 11
1:51 a.m. —Leelanau Township — Caller saw a flash of light outside her window. She thinks someone is in the woods walking around her house. Caller wants more patrols in the area.
11:17 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Verbal disagreement. (Caseworker will talk to both parties and advise them of their rights regarding the two children).
12:37 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor cut down maple tree on caller’s property. It was seven years old. This happened three weeks ago. But caller was too upset to talk about it.
2:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Bicyclist was riding on the TART Trail and states that someone tried to hit him with a tractor.
2:46 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Boyfriend is yelling at the caller and causing problems. It’s “only escalated.”
9:38 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — “Good sized” hole forming on Miller Hill Road. Notify the Road Commission.
Tuesday, July 12
12:38 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Across from the red schoolhouse, down by the TART Trail, there is a school/ tour bus been there on and off for two days. It is running all night. It’s loud and caller’s would like them to move it along.
4:45 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Request to response to make contact with parents of a 16-year-old female who snuck out, stole a vehicle and went joyriding.
Wednesday, July 13
9:21 a.m. — Solon Township — While looking out the window, caller saw her neighbor who was sweeping, fall into the flowers. Sees her sitting there. Trying to get up but can’t.
5:09 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports someone cut down bushes on her property and damaged her pump and irrigation system.
9:05 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller had a rental cleaned at 3 p.m. She checked it right after and everything was locked up and spotless. She returned to find the door unlocked and the toilet was used. Caller has it cleaned up and has no idea who did it. She would like periodic checks done in the area. Does not need to speak to an officer.

8:33 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Builder took caller’s money. Never got permits for work. Has contract. Was paid in full. Permit pulled for demo. No permits for any other building. Said he can’t finish it. Needs more money.
10:13 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Report on social media regarding a cat in a trap.
Friday, July 15
7:34 a.m. — Solon Township — Female is renting from caller. She just came upstairs and slapped him.
8:21 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller advises his neighbors cut branches from trees on his property because they could not see getting out of their driveway. Caller is very upset.
6:11 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Grandpa has been physical again tonight. He is very impulsive and may have early onset dementia. (One taken into custody.)
9:47 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Two younger girls are down by the bottom of the dune near the water. One starting up the dune and the another is walking by the water. Caller has no further information but felt they were having trouble. (Per ranger, it is not uncommon for younger people to walk that portion of the beach.)
Saturday, July 16
1 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Daughter and husband are having troubles. Male possibly drunk. (Female taken into custody.)
5:13 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Couple on vacation here. They’ve broken up and she refuses to get out of the car.
9:52 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Language barrier. Assault in a horse barn. Two men have been drinking and are crying. Arrest made for assault.
10:46 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone is pounding on caller’s door.
Sunday, July 17
7:46 p.m. — Bingham Township — Car in front of caller has been throwing napkins and granola bars and straw out and they’re hitting caller’s car. They are swerving and varying speeds.
9:29 p.m. — Kasson Township — Air compressor and battery taken out of truck bed.
Monday, July 18
7:57 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle in wetlands area. Have been camping on caller’s property. Female subject seems mentally unstable and agitated. Sleeping in backseat. Silver/gray Acura. (They are packing up and moving along.)
8:44 a.m. — Kasson Township — Theft last night sometime. Welder is gone from workshop.
1:06 p.m. — Leland Township — Lost wedding/engagement ring.
2:52 p.m. — Leland Township — Call from a vineyard tasting room. Says she has no cell service. Is lost and cannot find her way back to her hotel. Was given directions but is “freaking out” and would like someone to assist her with directions. (Citizen was assisted.)
4:17 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Family member is on a raft that went adrift in Sleeping Bear Bay. Cannot get back to shore. (During response, a private boater made contact with the rafter and is towing her back to shore. Rafter is safely back on shore.)
7:20 p.m. — Leland Township — Group of males jumping off the bridge in Fishtown.
Tuesday, July 19
5:58 p.m. — Leland Township — Son is not handing over phone. Changed parental controls. Parent doesn’t know what to do with him. Threatens to kill himself with a small knife. (Per law enforcement, juvenile did not have weapon at the time of contact. Parent advised to call next day if he doesn’t comply with instructions for the phone.)
Wednesday, July 20
12:45 a.m. — Empire Township — Loud music and yelling. Caller does not want to be seen. (Law enforcement found minors in possession party.)
Friday, July 22
2:37 p.m.—Kasson Township – Son called subject and said he was stabbed in the eye by his girlfriend who is trying to kill him. He is homeless living in a tent in the woods. (Law enforcement responded. Male does not have an eye injury.)
Saturday, July 23
6:23 a.m.—Leelanau Township—Bernese Mountain dogs ran up while caller was on a run. They were growling. Ongoing problem.
11:08 a.m.—Elmwood Township – Male on top of the caboose at the trail crossing saying he was scared. Passerby asked if he could help him get down. Male, 20 to 30 years old; last week crossing M-22 carrying a traffic cone. Subject removed from nearby restaurant. (His mother was listening with a scanner app. She called to say the male is homeless, depressed and addicted. She has tried on numerous occasions to assist him. Subject departed southbound on foot.)
3:53 p.m.—Leland Township – Caller was contacted by scammers posing as Amazon. Convinced him to buy Amazon gift cards. Purchased nine.
5:19 p.m.—Leland Township – Teenagers jumping off the bridge in Leland; (parents spoken to per law enforcement.)
10:41 p.m.—Leland Township— Subject grabbed bartenders hat and he was pushed into the bar. Unknown male was with a group of 18 patrons. He was refused service. Spit on the table and then left.
Sunday, July 24
1:13 p.m.—Leland Township— Caller left her home Friday and when she returned home she noticed that her door was open and things in the house were not the same as when she left. Her landlord said she saw a truck pull into the driveway Friday night but could not make out the model or color.
1:14 p.m.—Suttons Bay Township—Caller was sitting on the porch. Heard voices in the orchard. Went there and found a Chevy Suburban. Caller is going to wait a few days and if it isn’t moved, she will call to have it towed.
Wednesday, July 27
1:56 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Daughter hit caller in the nose. In other room. Being violent. (Subject taken into custody.)
3:53 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Dog Park in Northport. Pickleball players are letting dogs at large.
11:29 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Female in the background saying “he damaged the vehicle.” Subjects arguing. Female not letting caller leave. (Verbal only.)
Thursday, July 28
9:39 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Some kind of gun has been found at the village office parking lot. (It was a toy pistol, per law enforcement.)
5:32 p.m. —Suttons Bay Township — Neighbors are having a dispute. Caller advising neighbor has been drinking. Came over to caller’s house and now is bothering the guy working on the lawn. (Per law enforcement, subject taken into protective custody due to his up and down behavior.)
10:21 p.m. — Solon Township — People are loitering at the park. Caller thinks they have been drinking. Someone driving a Gray Jeep Wrangler swerved toward the caller when he was on his bike.
10:51 p.m. — Leland Township — Male passed out in front of a business on sidewalk.
Friday, July 29
10:08 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Female is having a panic attack and needed the number to Northern Lakes Community Mental Health. Caller was disconnected. (Dispatch spoke with fire chief, who is familiar with the situation. Subject on the phone with mental health services.)
8:05 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Male with very long, white beard laying on the ground near a tree. Drunk, male got into a verbal altercation. Tried to take off and ran into a tree. Suspect also has a yellow straw hat. (Male has therapist talking to him. He gets rowdy when authority figures come around. Family member arrived on the scene. Will take him home.)
10:31 p.m. — Centerville Township —Loud party. Caller was wondering if law enforcement would ask them to quiet down. (Deputy made contact. They agreed to quiet down for the night.)
Saturday, July 30
3:08 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller scammed out of money online.
3:29 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Brother-in-law called to advise caller there is a motor home parked in his driveway. Homeowner doesn’t know who the registered owner is. Brother-in-law will leave note. Otherwise, the homeowner will have it towed.
Sunday, July 31
12:17 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Black Charger keeps pulling into caller’s driveway and is blasting music and yelling. At least two people in the car. Has come back three times.
4:26 a.m. — Kasson Township — At least four different subjects talking about getting in a car. (No one needs an ambulance per law enforcement. Everyone is drunk.)
9:38 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s dad and brother came into caller’s domicile and accosted him. Took his phone.
3:19 p.m. — Bingham Township — Someone has been dumping a lot of trash near caller’s garbage can at the end of the road. He knows it’s no one on his road doing it. (Trash actually did belong to one of the neighbors. Their house was being watched and the watcher was not sure which bin to put it in. Trash is now in the proper bin and the issue is resolved.)
5:27 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s wife came home last night while he was asleep. She woke him up multiple times. Today she is acting crazy. Caller told her to leave and she isn’t. (Both parties staying on opposite sides of the house. Closing the door in between. Cannot force either party to leave. Nothing physical happened.)
9:18 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Wedding venue nearby is making a large amount of noise. Caller would like them to quiet down. (Not excessive noise per law enforcement.)
Monday, Aug. 1
8:39 a.m. — Empire Township — Lost 10-month-old basset hound. Left house last night around 9:30. Named “Jasmin.”
8:40 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Cow dying on the side of the road. (Per law enforcement, no cows. However, there is a dead deer.)
12:37 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller said sister sent a picture of a smashed windshield and said her boyfriend did it last night. Was afraid to call due to prior history of violence in another county. Both parties live with parents at this address. (Male not there. Will attempt to contact him later. Investigation and report by State Police.)
2:13 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dog at white apartment house. Tied to a tree. No shelter. Barks all day.
4:01 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller lives at the T-C Commons. Was at their property a week ago. The neighbor, who shares an easement, put up a garage type of temporary structure on caller’s property. Caller said it is not within the easement and is clearly on caller’s property. Apparently neighbor is not believing the survey markers. (Per law enforcement, no survey lines have been established. Caller was instructed to get an official survey completed and then lodge her complaint.)
4:58 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller can’t get the bathroom door unlocked.
5:46 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller saw a boy, about 10 years old running along the roadway eastbound. Thinks he was too young to be running alone. Caller is concerned for him.
8:54 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is watching teenagers operate wave runners dangerously. They are cutting in front of each other. Caller advised that kids seem like they are drunk. (Dad was in a blue Subaru. Son and girlfriend were on the water. Stone cold sober and were talked to.)
10:52 p.m. — Leelanau Township — At 10 p.m. there was a young girl who walked past the caller’s house and approached the door and offered brownies to the caller. Did not recognize her and could hear her talking with someone.
Tuesday, Aug. 2
12:31 a.m. —Leland Township — Caller heard noise outside his garage door like something fell about 25 minutes ago. His ring doorbell went off and he might have seen a silhouette of an arm. Would like the property checked and to speak with an officer.
Wednesday, Aug. 3
12:13 p.m. — Solon Township — Woman attempting to park her vehicle. Hit gas instead of brake and drove into one of the pillars in front of the business.
3:12 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller has not been in contact with his friend in about a week. Very abnormal to not hear from him. (Subject in his camper. Doing fine, per law enforcement.)
Thursday, Aug. 4
4:14cp.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male is yelling at the contractor and is getting in his face.(Upset about the work. Not a threat.)
10:38 p.m. — Empire Township — There was a man walking toward a woman. Looks like they may have been fighting. (Law enforcement was unable to locate.)
11:13 p.m.— Elmwood Township — Barefoot female wearing a sports bra and white shorts. Female is weaving in an out of traffic. Third caller reports the female in the middle of M-22 north of Cherry Bend Rd., Fourth caller said she’s in the southbound lane with her arms outstretched.
Friday, Aug. 5
1:24 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Mom choked caller out and left with caller’s 5 month old. (No assault took place. Caller was drunk.)
