Wednesday, Dec. 14
8:18 a.m. — Bingham Township — Package stolen from porch yesterday. (It was delivered to neighbors.)
10:54 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Someone took caller’s garbage can near the road. (Caller was contacted by GFI who, after careful review, determined that they picked up her can by mistake. They’ll replace it.)
11:04 a.m. — Empire Township — Someone is calling in fake prescriptions.
11:05 a.m. — Solon Township — Male subject in vehicle back seat with binoculars in caller’s backyard. (Four individuals in vehicle were doing a Christmas bird count.)
11:56 a.m. — Solon Township — Man was cleaning out an old shed and found a box of dynamite. (Michigan State Police bomb squad removed the material without incident.)
2:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Daughter reports men cutting wood on their property. (Family owners adjacent property. He was clearing some debris from the access road so they can take their snowmobiles there this winter.)
Friday, Dec. 16
1:55 p.m. — Bingham Township — Vehicle doing doughnuts in caller’s cherry orchard.
10:55 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller just got home from dinner. Someone crashed through tree and into property. Vehicle now gone.
Saturday, Dec. 17
4:21 p.m. — Solon Township — Male walking on south side of the road westbound. Caller is concerned for his safety, wearing layers and looks to have something on his hands.
Sunday, Dec. 18
6:25 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports her son missing. She last spoke with him on Dec. 16 and has not been able to get ahold of him since. (Subject is fine. Talked with mom. Made aware he is safe and at home.)
8:25 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Brown, well groomed and behaved dog with bow and scarf on collar. Tag says “Georgie.”
1:25 p.m. — Leland Township — Someone is trespassing on her dad’s property. He is in Florida. They have been dumping batteries, tires, wood, drywall. Caller put up game cameras and they rook the cards out of the cameras.

2:49:17pm 12/20/2022 Animal Control Pickup E Cherry Bend Rd., Caller wants to get rid of his fathers dog.
3:38:2pm 12/20/2022 Road Hazard Leelanau Cty., Student trying to change tire apparently blocking lane. Caller is worried for their safety.

7:59 p.m. — Solon Township — Daughter has two people coming to take her from the house.

10:49:11am 12/22/2022 Suspicious Incident Leland Twp., Receiving strange packages in the mail package was addressed to caller’s wife but with the neighbors address on it, caller will go check with the neighbor and then follow up.
11:03:41am 12/22/2022 Animal Control KassonTwp., Neighbors dogs bark all the time.
3:00:24pm 12/23/2022 Larceny Suttons Bay Twp., Resident claiming $200 was taken from envelope in a backpack in the closet. Caller is not interested in cooperating in any further investigation.
Friday, Dec. 23
10:49 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s friend contacted him stating she was stuck in the road somewhere on Center Hwy. Her phone is dead. Tow truck attempting to approach from Elm Valley Road. It is impassable (5 feet of snow.)
Saturday, Dec. 24
1:02 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Nephew is throwing a fit. He has been drinking.
8:40:44am 12/24/2022 Citizen Assist Solon Twp., Has to drop off a kid at daycare. Concerned about workers. Approaching caller in vehicle using hostile words; I’m coming for you.
7:56 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Emotional conversation about family issues. No physical altercation.
Sunday, Dec. 25
6:55 p.m. — Bingham Township — Male wearing dark clothing walking around in the road.
7:13:21pm 12/25/2022 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Cty., Wife being stopped in the parking lot, she was harassed by HBD individuals and now she is being told she can't leave the hotel.
Monday, Dec. 26
2:08 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbors are upset caller is putting in a driveway. They have plowed snow into the area he will be creating a driveway.
7:38:51pm 12/26/2022 Road Hazard S West-Bay Shore Dr., A man is pushing snow into the roadway causing her to almost have a head-on collision. Road Commission called and advised he will come help clear the road. There is a tractor broken down at the end of the driveway, there is lots of snow in the roadway. Will be looking for the driver. He spoke with the owner who is going to clean up the snow.
Tuesday, Dec. 27
12:34 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Subject threatened caller and threatened to kill his dog.
8:08 p.m. — Empire Township — Acquaintance called today and stated that he fell, hit his head and is going to the emergency room. Asked the caller to take his dog. Caller did not respond. (Called back. Man is fine and has been taking care of his head himself. Dispatch offered to send someone there, but male declined.)
9:15 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Female screaming and then hung up. Second call, again screaming. Does not know her address and when asked what was happening, she disconnected. (Family trouble. Non-criminal per law enforcement. Will stay on scene until family members have left.)
Wednesday, Dec. 28
11:38 a.m. — Caller has been receiving harassing texts and phone calls. Would like to speak with deputy about options. (Advised caller to block the number and contact Sheriff’s Office if calls persist.)
8:46 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller wants to speak to deputy about options to get his 24-year-old son, who does not pay rent, out of the house. (Caller given options. He will speak to his son again and may need to call in the future.)
Thursday, Dec. 29
3:02:51pm 12/29/2022 Traffic Violation Cedar, School bus violation.
5:46 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Sunken green kayak between Good Harbor and Bohemian. Coast Guard sending a crew with boat. Kayak is about 15 feet from shore, partially submerged. (Kayak in a few feet of water. Nothing else wrong. Per Park ranger kayak has been reported to his agency for a month. There is not lost person associated with it. It’s just been too deep and the waves too bad to get it in the past.)
Friday, Dec. 30
1:48 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Son took caller’s car keys. Walking around the house and won’t give them back.
2:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Some threatening to walk out the door with a bag and suitcase. Not being violent right now.
Saturday, Dec. 31
4:42:41am 12/31/2022 Noise N West-Bay Shore Dr., Loud music coming from within the lodge.
12:24 p.m. — Kasson Township — Identity was taken and used to open a Bank of America account.
4:54 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller has a $2,000 bill from AT&T that’s not her account, but is in her name. AT&T said she has to pay it.
Sunday, Jan. 1
11:36 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller says neighbor woman was yelling at her 5-year-old son.
Monday, Jan. 2
12:09 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller heard loud banging on one of his doors. He advised he looked outside and didn’t see anything or anyone. Would like a deputy to check around the house.
11:55 a.m. — Leland Township — Someone knocking on basement egress window last night.
