Tuesday, October 11

9:09:18am 10/11/2022 Suspicious Incident Leland Township, Caller says someone entered his property overnight and drained his koi pond.

Wednesday, October 12

8:56:25am 10/12/2022 Larceny Empire, Someone took his campaign sign.

3:07 p.m. — Bingham Township — Someone in a black truck took caller’s political sign yesterday.

3:35 p.m. — Kasson Township — Resident was victim of a scam. Investigated by the Michigan State Police.

4:11 p.m. — Empire Township —Wife’s parents were sitting outside caller’s house yesterday with the windows open. Caller feels they are stalking his home. He doesn’t feel threatened but wants to make sure the professionals are aware that this is happening.

4:28:19pm 10/12/2022 Assault & Battery Elmwood Twp. Caller was assaulted by his neighbor.

Thursday, October 13

10:54:29am 10/13/2022 Lost Property Centerville Twp., Skateboard stolen.

6:17:44pm 10/13/2022 911 Hang Up Centerville Twp., Can hear music in the background but no one is answering the phone or text. A worker hit their phone with a hammer, trying to figure out if they can turn the phone off somehow.

9:00:57pm 10/13/2022 Found Animal Peshawbestown, Two German Shepard dogs that have showed up at the casino, they have them in a shed.

Friday, October 14

11:02:40am 10/14/2022 Animal at Large Kasson Township, Cow in road.

6:52 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Five cows running around the area. Caller knocked on the door but no one is home. (Law enforcement spoke with owner. His is in Elmwood Township but will turn around and head back.)

11:31:57pm 10/14/2022 OWI Turtle Creek, GTB units en route to turtle creek for a possible stolen vehicle. Reporting party is now on the game floor. Keys were in the vehicle and it was parked in the west lot. Will still make contact with the reporting party. Looking at video the intoxicated male got in his truck and drove. Will have him stopped. Request hook. In custody.

Saturday, October 15

2:09 p.m. — Empire Township — Subject grabbed caller’s shoulder hard and pushed her 15 minutes ago. Verbal threats before.

Monday, October 17

8:17 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is in the hospital and has been trying to reach her husband since 5:30 last night and he isn’t answering his phone. Caller isn’t alarmed because he doesn’t always have his phone on him. But would like someone to check on him. (Contact made. He’s fine and will contact the hospital.)

7:00:56pm 10/17/2022 Suspicious Incident Centerville Twp., Caller reporting she may have seen something on the morning that the man from Kingsley disappeared.

11:17 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller just saw someone outside of her house with a light on her front porch. Light is in the pines now. Very round light. No vehicles should be in the driveway. Caller states someone is on the deck and in the backyard now with lights. Not the same round lights as before. This is more rectangular. (No sign of anyone per law enforcement.)

Wednesday, October 19

5:54:26am 10/19/2022 Suspicious Incident Kasson Twp., Someone tried to get into the house. Was looking in the bedroom window and was also on the porch; had a flashlight. Dog scared them off.

12:55:59pm 10/19/2022 Suspicious Incident Elmwood Twp., Person going to the bathroom in the culvert. Three people live there without a well. 45-19 spoke with the called and she is going to contact the township office as well as the health department.

3:34:49pm 10/19/2022 Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Collision M-22, Hit by road rage. Black Jeep Commander.

5:07:10pm 10/19/2022 Fire S. Dune Hwy. Vehicle on fire on side of road.

Thursday, October 20

3:21:29pm 10/20/2022 Entrapment Cedar, Three-year-old stuck in safe, caller does not have combination. Priority 1. Child is out.

5:02:23pm 10/20/2022 Suspicious Incident Fishtown, Caller is reporting a business in Fishtown is closed but the lights are on and there are a lot of flies flying around inside the building.

Friday, October 21

10:43 a.m. —Elmwood Township — Three dogs charged caller when she was walking.

4:45 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller owns a house but is not currently living there. Her daughter called and reported that a man in an unmarked white van drove up to her house and when approached he said he was checking on the house. Caller advised there shouldn’t be anyone there.

7:34 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Suspicious incident.

Saturday, October 22

10:36 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller believes her daughter took a skirt out of her closet. Caller has owned it for 10 to 20 years. It goes all the way to the floor. Caller broke her ankle — has a boot on it — and wants to wear it today for her class reunion. (Caller was advised to call her step-daughter and ask if she has the skirt in a polite way.)

1:53:16pm 10/22/2022 Traffic Violation W. Macfarlane Rd., 10 very fancy racecars passed caller going 100 mph.

4:08:13pm 10/22/2022 Traffic Violation S. Stocking Scenic Dr., Male driver was drinking a Coors and driving gray Buick Enclave.

7:52:08pm 10/22/2022 Found Property Lake Leelanau, Caller found a drone in his yard.

Sunday, October 23

7:19:05am 10/23/2022 Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Collision E. Grandview Rd. One vehicle down an embankment. Female driver was sleeping in the back seat. She is now out of the vehicle. Started a K9 track, east bound. Found a credit card with the name. See if city police can have someone go to the residence to notify someone to come get the dog in the vehicle. Per 45-30 dog going to Sheriff’s Office.

5:21:14pm 10/23/2022 Assault & Battery Leelanau Twp., Caught trespassers on his property and they tried to flee, and he grabbed the back of the vehicle and was dragged and now would like to file assault charges. Reporting called back and now would like EMS to come and check his vitals.
