11:06am 9/10/2024 Counterfeiting Solon Twp., Purchased coins off Etsy from Spain and believes they are counterfeit.

1:01pm 9/10/2024 Larceny Kasson Twp., Had a prescription taken from her purse at work. 

Wednesday, September 11

7:36pm 9/11/2024 Fight S West-Bay Shore Dr., Two women fighting in the Elmwood Township park. One woman was holding another to the ground an hitting her. 

7:48pm 9/11/2024 Info Bingham Twp., Caller is upset because neighbor told her to stay off his property with her dog, she does walk dog near it but she is never on it, caller said it made her very nervous. Caller has permission to walk on a large property to the north, when she was walking today she heard a gunshot and it frightened her, she did advise that her neighbor does target practices on his property. Caller does not need to be seen, said she will use a route farther away from cranky neighbor. Called back, would like to speak to a deputy. 

8:49pm 9/11/2024 Suspicious Person Solon Twp., Tall skinny male with dark hair walking up and down the road stopped and confronted caller and started screaming at them from the center of the road. Thinks he may be on something but not sure and has never seen him on this road before. 

Thursday, September 12

9:13 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Fraudulent credit card charges and fraudulent use of checking account.

12:45 p.m. — Empire Township Two males have been hanging out and sleeping in their car across the street. (Persons are on private property and are there as guests of the resident.)

5:14:pm 9/12/2024 Hazmat Lake Leelanau, Tractor in the water, 20 feet out.

Friday, September 13

11:39am 9/13/2024 Trespassing Suttons Bay., Caller states that individual trespassed on caller’s property. 

5:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Female locked her keys in her vehicle with baby inside. (Mother and child reunited.)

6:31pm 9/13/2024 Neighbor Suttons Bay Twp., Caller’s child was approached by a little boy and mom walked up to caller’s son in an aggressive manner and cornered him. 

6:56 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Neighbors trespassed and removed a barrel rack and cut a chain before trespassed on another parcel that is not contested.

Saturday, September 14

1:40 a.m. — Bingham Township Caller lives next to the park. Believes there is someone staying overnight in a Dodge Charger.

9:28 a.m. — Elmwood Township Goats are on the solar panel, loose. Zip ties on the fence are broken.

2:25 p.m. — Kasson Township Caller states there’s an individual at his residence and caller doesn’t want her on the property.

5:59pm 9/14/2024 Misc Juvenile Suttons Bay Twp., Four juveniles riding bikes in roadway. Spoke with juveniles, advised a safer way to ride bikes on roadway.

8:42 p.m. — Bingham Township Caller reports dirt bikes riding on the road and being very loud.

Sunday, September 15

2:33 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller reports live music going on since 8 p.m. (Contact made. They are shutting things down.)

11:50 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township Wedding party destroyed cabana and other items that they left on the beach.

8:07pm 9/15/2024 Suspicious Incident Bingham Twp., Female trying to break into storage units. 

Monday, September 16

8:39am 9/16/2024 Traffic Violation E Cherry Bend Rd., Star rental truck trying to run people off the road. Passed everyone at the light to get around cars. Driving recklessly. 

12:41 p.m. — Elmwood Township Someone drove up caller’s driveway. Looked in the windows and then left. Seems suspicious. (May be a subject delivering political information.)

2:33 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township Damage to property from incident last weekend. Damage to light post, signpost and three posts on the bridge.

3:17 p.m. — Leland Township Caller found a credit card and Costco card at fruit stand.

4:17pm 9/16/2024 Trespassing S West-Bay Shore Dr., Former employee has been harassing current employee. Would like her trespassed.

6:17 p.m. — Bingham Township Approximately 4 p.m. two subjects driving a dark-colored Durango with Ohio plate asking political questions. Caller thought it was suspicious because they did not go to any of the neighbors’ houses. Caller just wants it on record.

8:31 p.m. — Bingham Township Caller reports that someone goes up and down her road in a 4-wheeler very loudly “a million times” on the weekends and sometimes during the week. Event after dark. It’s been happening since Labor Day.

9:15 p.m. — Centerville Township Caller reports hearing a gunshot outside the house just now.

Tuesday, September 17

1:53 a.m. — Elmwood Township Deputy out with a suspicious person. (Per law enforcement, subject was walking on road, waiting for a ride.

3:48am 9/17/2024 Suspicious Incident S West-Bay Shore Dr., Red van pulled up to building with a male wearing a ski mask. The subject then realized there was an officer in the area and took off. 

9:26pm 9/17/2024 Suspicious Incident N Manitou Trl., Sedan was pulled off the road, caller was driving by and saw some young men get out of the car with what she thought was spray paint. Caller kept driving, just wanted to let us know.

Wednesday, September 18

2:02 a.m. — Elmwood Township Caller in Ohio is trying to reach her husband who is here in the county. She has been calling for a half hour. (Caller called back. Husband was sleeping and is fine.)

8:26am 9/18/2024 Suspicious Activity Elmwood Twp., Female in the passenger seat “tweaking” out. Gallon of ice cream sitting outside the car parked in guest parking. Female detained, vehicle search.

11:21am 9/18/2024 Suspicious Person S West-Bay Shore Dr., Has video on her Ring camera of someone walking on her sidewalk yesterday.

1:22 p.m. — Centerville Township Caller reports subjects trying to move a house. Stuck partially in driveway and on roadway. Crew has been working on it for the past six hours. (Law enforcement spoke with foreman and they go the semi out.)

8:56 p.m. — Leelanau Township Caller reports her partner has been drinking and is being verbally abusive. (Female taken into custody.)

Thursday, September 19

9:53 a.m. — Centerville Township Caller reports wallet and pain medication taken from her vehicle while she was at work. (Caller found them.)

1:17 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Vehicle has been coming into lot and parking for the past four days and then leaving if someone approaches it. Yesterday, it stay for 45 minutes before leaving, Charcoal gray GMC Acadia with tinted windows.

4:18pm 9/19/2024 Info Lake Leelananu, Caller keeps getting political signs taken down at his pole barn.

5:01pm 9/19/2024 Suspicious Person Northport, Suspicious male walking around the store with a backpack. Was there from 1:30-2:30 then left and came back again. Didn’t purchase anything the first time. Will be speaking to staff. If anyone gets called back this will require a two officer response. Subject was very confrontational, destroyed some property. 

5:58 p.m. — Elmwood Township Caller has video for different people destroying his political signs on his property.

Friday, September 20

11:22am 9/20/2024 Traffic Violation Northport, Caller reporting golf cart failed to stop at stop sign, cut off caller, and the driver proceeded to flip him off. Caller took a  photo of him. Wants it on record.

Saturday, September 21

8:38am 9/21/2024 Citizen Assist Leelanau Cty., Has a Facebook stalker threatening him. Facebook admin advised him to contact local law enforcement. Provided advice. 

1:44 p.m. — Leelanau Township Caller and husband were moving a truck that’s been parked in the same spot for five years. Individual arrived on scene in his gray Silverado. Approached the driver’s door where the caller was and forcibly tried to remove her. When confronted by the caller’s husband. He retreated to the singlewide trailer that is also on this parcel.

Sunday, September 22

3:56 a.m. — Centerville Township Caller is at church. Said that a car it another parked car on the street. Caller is not able to go outside and look. Said driver is in a dark SUV and his now leaving headed north on Schomberg. Deputy sees vehicle with front end damage at Schomberg and Bodus, driver bailing. Subject will be in a blue shirt, Caucasian, short. Law enforcement will start checking barns with permission.

4:07pm 9/22/2024 Warrant Arrest Leelanau Cty., Called out by NPS05/Mazurek, out with a person smoking marijuana. Child support warrant, male in custody. 

6:58pm 9/22/2024 Info Solon Twp., Caller reporting a male parked in front of the house taking photos. He yelled out “Real estate photographer!” and when they approached he took off. 

Monday, September 23

12:34pm 9/23/2024 MDOP W Harbor Hwy., Believes his neighbor cut his fence.
