11:01am 10/22/2024 Drive Off Maple City., Drive off happened last month. They have video and thought the customer would be back in the store.

Wednesday, October 23

9:24am 10/23/2024 Citizen Assist Centerville Twp., Elderly neighbor is having checks stolen.

12:23 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Witness tampering.

Thursday, October 24

6:29am 10/24/2024 Welfare Check Kasson Twp., Has called 911 four times and then said it was an accident each time, sounds upset on the phone. Everything okay. 

11:59 a.m. — Elmwood Township Caller states there is a rabid raccoon running around in the road. (Animal control took care of the situation. Removed from the neighborhood.)

1:47pm 10/24/2024 Animal Control Bite Lake Leelanau, Bit by her own dog. 

4:43 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township Individual needs assistance getting back into her residence from her vehicle.

6:07pm 10/24/2024 Break Enter Suttons Bay Twp., Caller is out of town. Neighbor saw a young male leave his apartment. Girlfriend went over and saw things rifled through. 

Friday, October 25

8:54am 10/25/2024 Suspicious Incident Leelananu Cty., Caller thinks there is a tracking device in her car and would like to speak with an officer and have someone check her car. 

9:31am 10/25/2024 Larceny Vehicle S West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller’s purse was likely stolen out of her Toyota Corolla. 

2:04 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller is having an ongoing problem with a male in his 80s.

6:41 p.m. — Centerville Township Black cow crossing the road headed westbound.

8:49 p.m. — Elmwood Township Caller’s husband will not let her back in the house.

Saturday, October 26

1:57 p.m. — Cleveland Township People visible on trail cam. Ongoing trespass issues.

3:58pm 10/26/2024 Suspicious Person S Dune Hwy., Male was chasing the caller on the dunes all the way back to her car, she’s locked in her car now, but he’s tapping on the windows. 

5:08 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller advises that an individual is a danger to others. He has a restricted license.

7:14 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township Two males around age 20 on dirt bikes, cussing and riding around without helmets.

Sunday, October 27

11:30pm 10/27/2024 Leave Scene S West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller stated someone took out her mailbox. The vehicle hit a deer and the deer took out the mailbox, they still left the scene. Vehicle is likely heading northbound due to where the deer is and location of mailbox. 

Monday, October 28

2:26pm 10/28/2024 Suspicious Incident S West-Bay Shore Dr., Received anonymous tip of a coat and shoes at the boat launch and they thought it looked suspicious.

Tuesday, October 29

8:31 a.m. — Leland Township Caller has a personal protection order against ex-husband and he showed up at a gas station when caller was there and didn’t leave when he saw her.

11:36am 10/29/2024 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Cty., Caller has left for their winter house but they can see on their cameras there are two males and a truck in their driveway for the last 15 minutes, white crew cab, possibly a suburban, spoke to them straight through the camera and they insisted the caller hired them for some work and the caller told them he did not. Asked them to leave the property but they were refusing. Still there but at the end of the driveway. No vehicles in the driveway, just taking a look around the house. House was secure, doors all locked. 

12:20pm 10/29/2024 Info Leelnand, Individual posted something on Facebook Marketplace that looks like meth making supply. Not meth making equipment.

2:31 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township Caller arrived Sunday evening at her lake house. Campaign sign was torn out of the ground and thrown in her driveway

Wednesday, October 30

10:35 a.m. — Cleveland Township Female screaming and throwing sticks and leaves at workers.

1:29 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township Caller just had a verbal argument with his boss. So, the caller left on foot from the building site where were working. Nothing physical.

3:12pm 10/30/2024 Trespassing Leelanau Cty., Some strange male sitting in a chair in caller’s front yard asleep. No strange vehicles around but caller noticed a backpack and plastic bag in the front yard. One in custody on warrant.

Thursday, October 31

12:34 p.m. — Solon Township Subject is running a bulldozer on his property and knocking down trees. (Ongoing issue. Neighbors don’t agree with the survey and they were advised to pay for, and obtain, their own survey.)

1:01pm 10/31/2024 Civil Suttons Bay Twp., Representative of nonprofit destroyed their website.

3:57 p.m. — Elmwood Township Additional patrols requested at the township office to monitor the ballot drop box for any nefarious activities.

5:23 p.m. — Bingham Township Neighbors’ dog found in caller’s coop killing chickens. Pit mix. Light brown.

7 p.m. — Solon Township Black cow outside of the fence. It’s not in the roadway, but just loose.

7:17 p.m. — Empire Township Caller went to watch the sunset. A surfer went out and 5 to 10 minutes ago, lost sight of him. Caller is by the lighthouse. (Surfer located without injuries.)

Friday, November 1

2:01 a.m. — Bingham Township Caller has a personal protection order against an individual and the past three nights a vehicle has pulled into caller’s driveway and shined lights at her house. (Caller called back stating she thinks it was a paper delivery person.)

12:21 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Met subject in the lobby and provided advice on parenting issues.

1:09 p.m. — Cleveland Township Poor cell connection. Caller says construction workers are harassing her and she feels threatened. (Worker was on another unit. Other people in area also confirmed not a problem.)

5:19 p.m. — Solon Township Lounge chair placed out “free” has been destroyed. Happened within the past six days. (Caller just wanted to document it as she has a friend that is going to be coming and remove it.)

8:27 p.m. — Cleveland Township Vehicle shining for deer on private property on Sugar Loaf. About 100 yards away from seasonal road.

Saturday, November 2

12:10 p.m. — Kasson Township Previous renter was evicted several years ago and was seen on a camera. Believed to be hunting. Caller wants him trespassed.

Sunday, November 3

2:43pm 11/3/2024 Missing Persons Kasson Twp., Wife left home about a half hour ago, usually walks to neighbors. When she didn’t return, checked the neighbor’s and no one was home. Uncertain which direction she may have headed after that. Requested a drone from GTCO if available. GTB Fire will respond with the drone. 

3:12pm 11/3/2024 Citizen Assist Cedar, Caller would like a law enforcement response because she doesn’t feel safe with the neighbors. Met with caller, she is okay.
