12:37am 11/5/2024 911 Hangup S West-Bay Shore Dr., 911 hangup, female made a noise and hung up. Unable to call back. There is a dog barking inside, no one coming to the door. Contact made through window. Claiming there were people here earlier, they aren't there now and she is okay.

12:44 a.m. — Kasson Township Disturbance between boyfriend and his friend.

1:01 p.m. — Elmwood Township Five Trump signs are missing. Still has some on property.

3:31pm 11/5/2024 Dispatch Deer E Traverse Hwy., A deer that appears stunned has been standing in the same spot for several hours. Is going to be dispatched.

10:11 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Making contact with subject who was trespassed at the casino.

Wednesday, November 6

10:26am 11/6/2024 Suspicious Incident Centerville Twp., Saw a man in a white pickup, driving along S Lakeshore, stopping and entering onto private property to remove Harris/Wallace signs while leaving Trump/Vance signs in same area.

Thursday, November 7

6:42pm 11/7/2024 Suspicious Person S West-Bay Shore Dr., Guy in drive, walked across lawn. Confronted him– said he could do whatever he wanted. Got in car, drove towards caller, said he is going to come back.

Friday, November 8

3:49pm 11/8/2024 Disorderly Elmwood Twp., Caller advised an individual just got out of jail and is causing issues at the residence.

Saturday, November 9

1:50 a.m. — Bingham Township Sister is intoxicated and trying to drive away.

5:46am 11/9/2024 MDOP Bingham Twp., Caller’s cousin had a rock thrown through her windshield.

10:15 a.m. — Kasson Township Caller is receiving threats via text.

1:53 p.m. — Empire Township Household items dumped on the DNR access to Armstrong Lake. Individual admitted to dumping and has been given until tomorrow to clean it up. (It was picked up.)

4:57 p.m. — Solon Township Neighbors’ dog goes to the bathroom on caller’s property. He contacted the owners who are going to clean it up, but he would like to speak with animal control about this.

9:06 p.m. — Leelanau Township Caller came across cows in the roadway. Owner was made aware. He is on his way back from Traverse City but the cows made their way back into a secure location.

11:51 p.m. — Kasson Township Caller has someone in his woods. Two flashlights. Tried to speak with subjects. They walked away.

Sunday, November 10

12:50 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Group of juveniles causing an issue. Spray-painted caller’s front door.

4:02am 11/10/2024 Suspicious Incident Bingham Twp., Initial call from caller stating that person was calling and threatening to come to their apartment tonight, threatening him and his whole family.

12:04 p.m. — Empire Township Caller is a taxi driver and he advised an individual refuses to pay her taxi fare. (Civil issue. Parties were advised to go to court. Cab company believes they are owed money and the other party believes the bill was already settled the night before.)

1:01 p.m. — Cleveland Township Neighbors don’t like that individual target shoots. Caller wants to speak to a deputy.

Monday, November 11

10:56 a.m. — Cleveland Township Bad phone connection. Sending unit for a citizen assist based on previous calls.

2:57 p.m. — Elmwood Township Four people walking around property. Bundled up. Appears to be a yard work crew. (Confirmed it’s the caller’s hired lawn maintenance crew.)

Tuesday, November 12

2:03pm 11/12/2024 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Cty., Noticed rear window of truck is shattered but still intact in the frame. Met with caller, there does appear to be evidence of malicious behavior.

2:25 p.m. — Cleveland Township Subject is face down in driveway. Bruises on face. Caller helped him up. He didn’t want help. (Only fell. Assisting now.)

5:41pm 11/12/2024 Animal Control Lake Leelanau, Wife picked up 2 dogs, female white labs without collars.

Wednesday, November 13

7:52 a.m. — Solon Township One black cow on the loose. Walking down the road. Heading south. (Cows are secured.)

8:53am 11/13/2024 Info Leelanau Cty., Caller was last home yesterday at 5pm and the door was still open. Individual was in caller’s yard yesterday and he is possibly trying to squat in caller’s house. Caller is concerned there are unwanted people in her house. Requesting the house be periodically checked until she returns home.

2:14 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Neighbor’s son was dropped off by school and parents are not home.

Thursday, November 14

3:37 p.m. — Kasson Township Miscellaneous juvenile activity.

5:56pm 11/14/2024 Citizen Assist N West-Bay Shore Dr., Ex-boyfriend took $20 from her, wants it back so she can go home.

9:36 p.m. — Kasson Township Caller reports her mother left around noon today and hasn’t returned. (Mother returned.)

Friday, November 15

1:32 p.m. — Elmwood Township Individual is sending messages to caller’s girlfriend saying he wants to beat the caller up and is harassing her as well.

2:17pm 11/15/2024 Scam Leelanau Cty., Computer scam. But also spoke on the phone with scammers, caller gave personal information. No money was lost but gave approximate balances of accounts.

3:58 p.m. — Cleveland Township Someone used to rent caller’s property. The “renters” have it listed on VRBO and Airbnb and are collecting the money.

4:00pm 11/15/2024 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Cty., Man walking around posing as a park ranger, was hitting trees trying to scare wildlife from the hunters. Out with the subject.

Saturday, November 16

3:59am 11/16/2024 Info Leelanau Cty., 2 young people came and knocked loudly then ran west. Caller just wants it noted, will call if it happens again.

9:36 p.m. — Leland Township Caller reports a scam. Concerned someone has taken out a credit card in caller’s name.

Sunday, November 17

2:01am 11/17/2024 Suspicious Incident Northport, Caller says that someone knocked loudly on her door, happened about 3 nights ago. Didn’t hear a car or see anyone. Caller does not need to be seen but would like someone to check the area.

11:42am 11/17/2024 Suspicious Incident Northport, Window is wide open on the second floor room. Next to the dining room subject is dropping items out of the window onto the ground.

Monday, November 18

12:17pm 11/18/2024 Info E Cherry Bend Rd., Male throwing all his garbage into the caller’s dumpster. Drives a minivan. Been going on for a month, wants subject to know, no dumping.

12:37pm 11/18/2024 Neighbor Suttons Bay Twp., Neighbors tore up the fence and moved property. Informational report, survey company coming out tomorrow.

5:21 p.m. — Leland Township Caller requests a welfare check on subject. Has not talked to him in nine days and she talks to him everyday.

6:46 p.m. — Empire Township Caller would like to talk to an officer about her neighbor.

Tuesday, November 19

12:10 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township Caller works for Spectrum and noticed a gray SUV with the trunk open. He did not feel comfortable closing it in case someone has broken into it or something. It looks like nobody has broken into it. There’s just some tools in the back. (Law enforcement checked and was unable to locate owner. Hatch is secured.)

3:50am 11/19/2024 Alarm Leelanau Cty., Doors are open. Making entry into the building. Clearing the building. Building is secure, found another open door and secured it.

4:07am 11/19/2024 Disorderly Leelanau Cty., Some sort of altercation on the property.

6:29am 11/20/2024 Disorderly N West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller’s brother is currently trying to get into the caller’s house.

11:46am 11/20/2024 Animal Control Misc Leelanau Cty., Czech wolf breed and 9 puppies. The breed is illegal in Michigan without paperwork.

Thursday, November 21

1:27am 11/21/2024 Suspicious Incident Northport, Caller reports that her door is being banged on again, possibly at the cottage, attached to the garage.

12:20pm Suspicious Person E Cherry Bend Dr., Two males, both wearing COVID masks. Caller is customer in the store, said they were trying to use what appeared to be a fake credit card, owner was trying to accommodate them.They came irate, departed the store on foot.

Friday, November 22

9:28am 11/22/2024 Animal Control Leelanau Cty., Dog killed his adopted family's cat and growled at their young child. They returned the dog and now the dog is back up for adoption. Caller is concerned for safety of other family if they have a cat. Dog was put up for adoption with note saying “not friendly with cats”.

11:31am 11/22/2024 Suspicious Person Leland Twp., Solicitor came to her house wearing a safety vest trying to do home improvements left on foot northbound. Individuals going door to door soliciting.

11:10am 11/23/2024 MDOT S West-Bay Shore Dr., Someone spray painted and egged her car.

2:34pm 11/23/2024 Neighbor S West-Bay Shore Dr., Issue with a neighbor putting things on his property.

Tuesday, November 26

1:26am 11/26/2024 Suspicious Incident Elmwood Twp., Heard crash in the house, sounded like it came from basement. Slider door unlocked, concerned there is someone in the basement.

7:54 p.m. — Cleveland Township Poor connection. Caller did say she needs help. But did not sound like a medical emergency. (Contact made audibly. It’s a property check request. Will conduct now.)

11:22 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Domestic. Caller’s wife and mother got into an argument a couple hours ago. Moving away from home.

Wednesday, November 27

9:36am 11/27/2024 Welfare Check Leelanau Cty., Caller drives to work every day and has not seen individual in 6 weeks and is concerned. Would like a welfare check.

4:54pm 11/27/2024 Animal Control Elmwood Twp., Caller’s dog got loose out the front door. Individual got bit and left.

5:14pm 11/27/2024 Suspicious Person Leelanau Cty., Person on the side of the road crouched down, backpack and yellow hat, unknown if male or female.

2:42pm 11/28/2024 Animal Control Suttons Bay Twp., Cat ran off last night, male, thin, tabby cat, no collar.

4:31pm 11/28/2024 Welfare Check N West-Bay Shore Dr., Got this report direct about someone slumped over in a golf cart near this intersection.

Friday, November 29

12:09am 11/29/2024 Suspicious Incident S West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller is trying to sleep and he saw a flashlight outside his window. He would like a deputy to take a look around. Walked around the house, no footprints or evidence that anyone was near the house.

10:31 a.m. — Elmwood Township Truck in road and can’t move. Send sander.

12:49pm 11/29/2024 Animal Control Suttons Bay Twp., Evicted tenant, they left a dog behind. Called back, dog is in a kennel. Talked with neighbors who said the tenants are enroute back for the dog.

9:38 p.m. — Cleveland Township Neighbor has been hearing alarm go off at house across the street. He has knocked on the door but no one answers. No signs or distress or anything. (Per law enforcement, there’s no answer at door or by phone. Will walk the exterior of the home nothing seen. Possibly a weather-related alarm.)

8:12pm 11/30/2024 Threats Suttons Bay Twp., Caller receiving Facebook messenger threats from someone who used to live on property.

Sunday, December 1

3:26pm 12/1/2024 Citizen Assist Cedar, Subject wanted help, someone was stalking her, refused to be seen. Response canceled.

4:10 p.m. — Elmwood Township Runaway juvenile returned home.

Monday, December 2

1:16 a.m. — Elmwood Township Caller says she is trying to call her children but has an old number for them.

2:41am 12/2/2024 Animal Control Leelanau Twp., Caller says that neighbor’s dog has been barking for about 45 minutes, caller took a recording of it. Has spoken with police in the past and tried to resolve it with his neighbor. Would like to speak with someone again as soon as possible.

11:35am 12/2/2024 Civil Leelanau Cty., Caller made deposit to a company in April, work was supposed to start in May but it never occurred. Caller has been contacted by the company about delays but they never showed up to reschedule either. Company agreed to reimburse the caller.

5:21pm 12/2/2024 Abandoned Vehicle Elmwood Twp., Someone dropped a trailer at her driveway around 3:45pm and there is no plate on it. Left a message with owner, he accidentally put it in front of the wrong house. Will move it as soon as possible.

3:37 p.m. — Leland Township Coca-Cola truck stuck. Blocking the bridge. (Road Commission is already aware of this and sending someone that way. (Coca-Cola truck is free.)

Tuesday, December 3

12:14 a.m. — Empire Township Subject hasn’t been responding to calls or texts. Caller is no at the house pounding on the door and no one is answering. Car in the driveway. (House checked).

10:16 a.m. — Kasson Township Caller received threatening Facebook message this morning.

10:49 a.m. — Leland Township Deer trapped on the ice. Caller already caller DNR. Several cars pulled off on M-22 to watch the deer.

2:34 p.m. — Solon Township Neighbor just drove across caller’s property. Has signs posted no trespassing. Green or gray truck. (Per deputy, spoke to all parties. It was an inspector who didn’t know. But still no one is happy. All neighbors have been warned to stay on their side.
