lisa rabey writes stuff issue #9 interlude
Dear Internet,
When you read this, I’m going to be laying near a pool drinking Singapore Slings and that will be my only chore for a week.
This will be a short one, in fact, one tiny bit of news to update. I’m posting because I want to keep in the habit of publishing an issue once a week-ish to see the progression of my thoughts and writing even if it is minute.
I submitted to a fledgling publication this week under my nom de plume. The nom de plume needs publications under their belt because right now their website has nothing but a nearly 100 word bio.
I’ve been keeping up with nom de plume’s twitter account but the shit hole that Twitter has become is making that difficult. I culled down to about 250 people from @heroineinabook’s account to follow on the nom de plume’s. A lot of people have left Twitter and content is now sparse. I also followed a few people heavy into politics and decided to let their accounts go. I want the nom de plume’s account to be full of happiness and light even during the Twitter shit hole.
(I asked on FB to for a list of fluffy and light Twitter accounts to follow and it was crickets. If you have a rec, pass it on!)
tiny wren lit’s issue with my poem “fold” looks to be up in the next week or so. Keep a look out for issue 4.
This is it for me this week. There will be no issue on April 19th due to vacation shenanigans. Look for issue #10 on April 26th!

From “Prologue”:
Part the first, was the land. This is where the trees grew, animals move across the plains and the fish swam in the seas. From the plains, hidden deep in a forest, the great tree of knowledge, whose name is so sacred that it cannot be written or whispered, grows. Beneath the great tree contained the well of Mímir, who guards it day and night. The well that feeds the tree of knowledge, contains all wisdom and knowledge of universe.
Have a good week.
