Wednesday, Dec. 22
2:35 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller advised a white sedan was headed southbound with a broken mirror that fell off.
5:24 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller needs to pick up kids. Thinks ex-spouse will not allow for it to happen.
8:38 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s leather wallet with several compartments is missing. Contains driver’s license, credit cards and Social Security card. Believes it was stolen at the Cedar recycling station.
Thursday, Dec. 23
2:30 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Vehicle came around the curve a little fast and slid into caller’s yard and hit a pine tree.
Friday, Dec. 24
11:36 a.m. — Bingham Township — Someone hit caller’s mailbox at some point last night.
7:20 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was driving a Jeep and ran over a propane tank which got stuck under the vehicle. Caller was able to get the tank removed but was unsure if there is enough damage to require a police report.
9:25 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Domestic. Male just knocked over the Christmas tree.
Saturday, Dec. 25
12:30 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller says husband recently died. His children have arrived and told the caller she is no longer welcomed there. Locked her out. It’s her primary residence.
12:34 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is requesting a welfare check on her boyfriend. He is not completing sentences. Not himself. He’s been ill for a week.
9:11 p.m. — Leelanau Township — People came in and checked after an alarm went off on Thursday. They were told it was fine but they are now having symptoms.
Sunday, Dec. 26
3:06 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller has not been able to reach daughter for 24 hours. She is with her Dad. No custody agreement in place.
5:39 p.m. — Leland Township — Someone has a fire on the beach right in front of the “no fires allowed” sign. (Contact made with people on the beach. Fire extinguished.)
Monday, Dec. 27
12:48 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was walking his dog past a residence and a dog bit and punctured caller’s right finger.
5:59 p.m. — Bingham Township — Dark blue Subaru outside of caller’s house. When the caller went into his garage he saw wet footprints and the vehicle was no longer there.
8:37 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject has been drinking and needs to be removed. He is being verbally abusive and it’s escalating.
9:14 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller and her sister were taking a bath and heard crying. Caller believes there has been drinking. Grandpa’s girlfriend was drinking. But grandpa was not.
10:39 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is requesting information from a deputy regarding a person staying at his house and his options for removing them.
11:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Bells at St. Michael’s went off all night last night. Has started again tonight.
Wednesday, Dec. 29
7:20 a.m. — Leland Township — Vehicle in ditch. Looks like it was abandoned. Potential road hazard. Owner showed up. Ran out of fuel. Going to get vehicle removed.
7:10 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller is house sitting and accidentally set off the house alarm. She tried calling the homeowners but they didn’t answer. She states she put in the code but wasn’t sure of the number.
8:07 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller needs advice. Someone is staying in a travel trailer who has COVID and is not doing well. Caller’s daughter just spoke to this man on the phone and he stated he “feels like he’s going to die.” Caller doesn’t have an address. (Caller’s daughter was able to make contact with him and he does not want any assistance. If he doesn’t feel better tomorrow, he will drive to medical attention.)
Thursday, Dec. 30
3:58 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller received threatening email from ex-husband. She has spoken to her attorney but would also feel better speaking to law enforcement about options.
4:35 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller mad that her neighbors are shooting guns on their own property. Insistent that they are doing something illegal.
9:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller thinks someone is in the woods behind his house. Saw flashlights into the woods. He has multiple acres of property. (Law enforcement reports seeing a few lights on the property. Going to check it out on foot. Driving through San Remo and noticed all of the houses backing up to the caller’s have lights and lanterns in their backyard.
Friday, Dec. 31
1:26 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Unsecure door. White male with beanie on and glasses with black leather jacket, black shoes. Didn’t look malicious. Looks like he thought it was open since the door was left unlocked. (Contact made with driver. Left money for chips.)
12:28 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbors reporting someone is in caller’s house. Possibly her ex. There without caller’s permission. Drives newer black truck. Lawsuit pending in reference to share possession of this cottage. (Advised there is no one there and to call for civil standby when she gets there.)
3:53 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Wife is intoxicated. Needs to take care of issue with security camera. She has put tape in front of the camera lens. Would like assistance while he attempts to remove it.
Saturday, Jan. 1
2:42 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is in her room. Can hear son and wife fighting. Heard something about son saying his lip is “broke.” No weapons. Everyone is drunk. Screaming at each other. (One taken into custody per law enforcement.)
2:19 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller advised he drove over a mattress that flew out of the back of a silver Dodge truck. The Dodge pulled over but caller demands that he gets ticketed for his carelessness.
10:07 p.m. — Leland Township — Domestic call. Male is bleeding from ear; woman was the aggressor. Female is being combative. Yelling at the top of her lungs. Third party causing issues also. Ambulance requested for female suspect. She is possibly on something. Speaking “oddities.” (In custody.)
Sunday, Jan. 2
6 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller split with wife. She has his car. Didn’t give money from cell phone. Son has his car. (Caller advised that this was a civil issue.)
Monday, Jan. 3
10:13 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller is separated from his wife. She lives in Traverse City. Caller had guests over for the weekend when she gained access to home. Was trying to destroy things as she was escorted out. Would like her trespassed. (Law enforcement spoke with caller who was informed that due to it being a marital issue, he will have to handle it through the court. Numbers for resources provided.)
8:16 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s son took truck last night and it is stuck in Suttons Bay somewhere. Red GMC with brown bed. Unknown exact location. Caller was informed by another son that it was left somewhere in Suttons Bay after it got stuck.
