Wednesday, April 13
4:02 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone has been tampering with the window. Then knocked on window or trying to get in. Person just left. No one saw the person. They may have run across the street.
11:14 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Subject possibly trespassing. Neighbor hiding horse on caller’s property.
2:36 p.m. — Solon Township — Subject trespassing onto caller’s property. Walking through and skiing through on a trail the caller put in. Caller has posted signs. (Civil issue. No one wants to trespass the other.)
Friday, April 15
4:42 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller is in the middle of a divorce. New boyfriend is following caller in car. Has threatened in the past. (Civil issue)
5:37 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s boyfriend is drunk and pushed caller into cabinet. Caller is in the woods. Male coming out now. Doesn’t know that she called. (Spotted running out back. Taken into custody.)
7:10 p.m. — Kasson Township — Two dogs found. Small white Maltese-kind and second is black and tan, possibly a beagle/chihiahua mix. Wearing a black collar with hearts. No tags other than the name “Bean.” Caller will hold onto the dogs. Has it posted to social media sites.
8:18 p.m. — Leland Township — Sister fell out of bed and can’t get up.
10:42 p.m.— Leland Township — Truck has been driving past slowly. Now is parked and it sounds like someone is getting out of it. No further description on the vehicle — possibly has lights on the top. (Caller called back to say that the vehicle just left his house going north.)
Saturday, April 16
12:18 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller is reporting an MIP party. Pictures seen on Snapchat that showed many underage individuals drinking. Also advised the house has multiple vehicles out front.
3:07 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports a man showed up at his house. Says he is from Fremont and not sure where he is at. Per dispatch on April 14 Fremont Police Department (FPD) responded for a welfare check. Subject was turned over to a family member by FPD. Dispatch calling family members to see if they can make contact. (Subject in protective custody. Turned over to daughter who lives in Leelanau County.)

Monday, April 18
1:06 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Fairly new black backpack in dumpster behind the brewery. Caller lives next door and thinks it’s suspicious.
2:33 p.m. — Leland Township — Injured raccoon on the east side of the road.
3:51 p.m. — Kasson Township — 911 call. No sounds of distress. Could hear music in the background. (Accidental dial by child playing with a phone.)
5:17 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Commitment.
Tuesday, April 19
12:25 a.m. — Kasson Township — 911 hang-up. Female on the phone. No answer on call back. (Deputy made contact with people in the house. Verbal only.)
12:54 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dog at residence is being neglected. White pit bull always locked in the garage. Caller also thinks it may be abused. (Dog was good and healthy per law enforcement.)
Wednesday, April 20
8:49 a.m. — Kasson Township — Threat via text message. (Nothing that was said or sent is considered a legal threat. Both parties were spoken to about their activities.)
12:38 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller got hit in the chest by shoulder. Heard a crunch.
12:54 p.m. — Kasson Township — Catalytic converter stolen.
Thursday, April 21
12:17 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Small sedan. Dark in color. Female driver is outside the vehicle doing something, but caller cannot see what. (Female in the back seat with a dog. Made contact with the caller. Female will be moving along.)
Friday, April 22
9:19 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor is having a huge brush fire 500 feet from caller’s house. Caller doesn’t want anything done. But would like an officer to drive by and just acknowledge it. (Per law enforcement, “There is a fire there.”)
10:10 p.m. — Centerville Township — Four-door white truck in caller’s yard down the driveway. Is sitting there with lights off. (People in the truck were given permission to hunt raccoon and coyote on the farm. Caller was not made aware of this.)
11:12 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone east of the caller toward the TART Trail is running a chainsaw. Caller is concerned that someone may be cutting on private property without permission. (No chainsaws located.)
Saturday, April 23
6:34 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Law enforcement called out with young male juvenile possibly insured from a skate board crash.
9:26 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Distant family member by marriage is using caller’s trash and attempted to enter the home tonight. Caller would like him trespassed.
Sunday, April 24
7:04 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is pretty sure she left her phone in Traverse City somewhere two days ago.
7:49 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s neighbor got a bulldozer and is digging in his yard up to the property line. Caller doesn’t believe he has a permit. She is concerned that what he is doing could also affect other people’s lots.
Monday, April 25
7:04 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller wanted guidance on what to do. She let her son borrow her car and he won’t return it after having it for a month.
Wednesday, April 27
2:05 p.m. — Bingham Township — Neighbor was trespassing on caller’s property. (Civil matter at this point in time. They have a shared driveway with property line down the middle. They disagree that it is an easement.)
Thursday, April 28
10:58 a.m. — Kasson Township — Cow in the middle of the road. Cow is now back on property but still outside of the pasture. Owners are there now.
7:32 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Kids fishing at pond. But technically season doesn’t open until Saturday.
Friday, April 29
1:14 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Car pulled into caller’s driveway and shut their lights off about 20 minutes ago. Would like it investigated as they looked like they were taking pictures of the caller’s house.
5:01 p.m. — Kasson Township — A rusty trailer with building/roofing supplies has been left on caller’s property. Someone has apparently mistaken caller’s property for someone else’s. Caller is concerned that a crew might show up and start tearing caller’s roof apart. (No signs or a plate. Suggested neighbor put signs on the trailer so whoever comes back realizes they have made a mistake.)
10:47 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller hears someone yelling in the restaurant parking lot. Possibly in a dark truck. Caller is concerned because of the recent bomb threat and thinks it may be suspicious. (All is clear and quiet per law enforcement.)
Saturday, April 30
12:51 p.m. — Kasson Township — Someone took a felled tree on the left hand side of the property. Has been cut up. Unknown who could have cut it up. (Caller decided to discuss the situations directly with her neighbor and will call again if there are any problems.)
Sunday, May 1
4:12 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Loud music can be heard throughout the neighborhood. (There is a small gathering of friends and the music is at an appropriate level. They have been asked to keep it “neighborly.”)
4:16 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Trees removed from caller’s property. Also a pile of wood chips/mulch have been taken. (After speaking with the owner, they had some tree work done last fall and think that perhaps the tree service was overzealous. They will hold off for now before pursuing any further action.)
Monday, May 2
10:52 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Animal bite and quarantine order.
11:39 a.m. — Empire Township — Traffic stop. Couple was checking out wedding venues.
2:04 p.m. — Leland Township — Golden Retriever. No collar or tags. Running through caller’s yard. Brought him in the house.
3:50 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Runaway juvenile, age 12. Left over an hour ago on his bicycle and said he was going to run away. Wearing shorts and a black shirt. He wanted to go to Traverse City to sell Pokemon cards. (Adult called back. Found him at Herman Park.)
Thursday, May 5
10:54 a.m. — Bingham Township — White-color truck backed into caller’s driveway and attempted to take a small trailer. They left when confronted by homeowner.
10:59 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Small white packet on the ground. Appears to contain “white crystals.” Caller thinks it should be checked out.
12:16 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller had partnership that dissolved. Female is refusing to return items taken associated with the business. She has made some threats via Facebook as well. (Caller does not want to file charges at this time.)
1:07 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Grandpa keeps threatening caller and he is scared. (Grandma states that the caller is upset that she won’t drop everything and take him somewhere.)
Friday, May 6
8:48 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports his neighbors have the bass on their radio very loud. Would like them to quiet down. (Per law enforcement, everything is OK. Had a little talk.)
8:52 p.m. — Empire Township — A large bucket of nails was dumped into the roadway. There are 40 pounds of staples at the fire station in Empire that were picked up out of the roadway if anyone asks about their whereabouts.
Saturday, May 7
4:10 p.m. — Centerville Township — One black calf in the road.
9:27 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller and her friends were at Leland Harbor watching the sunset. She got out of her car to give friend a goodbye hug and a “random boy” climbed into her car and tried to take the car, but her other friend was still in caller’s car. They started yelling at him and he left in a gray Tacoma. Roughly 19 years-old. Man bun. Blue shirt. Caller does not want to pursue charges for possible unlawful driving away and automobile. (Per law enforcement, individuals are pretty intoxicated. All parties being uncooperative.)
Sunday, May 8
11:37 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Former girlfriend broke caller’s windshield. Left in a blue Dodge Caliber. Took her 7-year-old son and 9 month-old son. (Female is back at the residence.)
Monday, May 9
12:29 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller has cows in his pasture that don’t belong to him. Animals are temporarily contained. Owners have been contacted and are en route.
1:28 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Person in the ditch. Possibly sleeping.
5:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Elderly woman with leaf blower blowing sand and asphalt into roadway.
9:01 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone left newspapers between the seats of caller’s vehicle that was unlocked and parked in her driveway. Not sure when the newspapers were left. Does not want to speak to a deputy or have one specifically respond but would like someone to check out the area for suspicious activity this evening at some point.
Tuesday, May 10
3:53 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone is trying to break into house. Caller saw someone outside and turned on lights. There is a man wearing a gray T-shirt. Making weird noises. Took most of his clothes off. (Subject was taken into custody.)
Wednesday, May 11
1:08 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller thinks her neighbor is throwing pine cones onto her property that are coming from the caller’s tree. (Subject advised to contact an attorney as this is a civil issue.)
Thursday, May 12
8:02 p.m. — Kasson Township — Smaller Angus calf in the roadway. (Law enforcement out along the road with rest of the cattle. Not currently in the roadway. There was a gap under one of the fences. Calf was returned.)
10:31 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Can hear a cow from current address. Caller thinks it is out and in distress. (All cows accounted for. All fences are OK as well. Possibly they were just loud.)
Friday, May 13
12:24 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Someone in the house with caller. Not supposed to be there. Could hear them. No longer hears anything. Whomever was in the house would know caller is on the phone due to size of the house. There are no lights on in the house. There should be no vehicles in the driveway.
1:54 p.m. —Glen Arbor Township —Sister has been missing for two hours. Was on a mushroom hike. Has her phone. Watch is dead. Were texting back and forth. (Subject found.)
Saturday, May 14
1:29 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller her a loud bang ( from behind the house) then the power went out. Caller cannot see flames nor smell smoke. (Per law enforcement, not signs of smoke or arching in the area. Cherryland advised no power in the area.)
1:30 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Guest is having a fit. Yelling at caller and will not calm down. Accusing the caller of stealing her property. Family trouble. Law enforcement will have a written report.
3:08 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Persons trespassing on caller’s property looking for mushrooms. When confronted they said they are native and can go where they want. (Trespassed.)
5:35 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller was at beach. Woman stopped in the parking lot and was reading license plate numbers. In distress. Caller tried to approach her. Subject said she wanted less problems. Ranting; pulled out speeding. On Juniper Trail now. Posted on social media and there were similar incidents throughout the county.
Sunday, May 15
2:05 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller is concerned because her husband is working in the RV Park. He ususally talks to caller every night and last night he did not call her. Caller hasn’t been able to reach him. (He is OK. Does not have good reception. Will be home tomorrow morning.)
3:18 a.m. — Bingham Township — Party going on next door. People are yelling and car alarms going off. (Law enforcement spoke with homeowner and they are going to quiet down for the night.)
7:46 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Walking by neighbors house. Car was running in driveway. Appears to have been running a long time. Caller knocked on doors. No answer. (Law enforcement made contact. All is well.)
3:38 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone is coming onto caller’s property after dark. May be watching her through a window. Caller described an incident where she went outside about 10 p.m. and heard a male talking.
Monday, May 16
2:57 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller leases land on S. Center Hwy., and there are dirt bikes and four-wheelers driving on the property and tearing up the land. (Deputy spoke to juvenile and let him know he is not welcome in caller’s cherry orchard).
8:13 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports the bass at the apartment complex is very loud. (Deputy made contact. Not that loud.)
Wednesday, May 18
9:32 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller’s neighbor is yelling at her. Ran over caller’s plants. Ongoing. Thirty-two year dispute. (No crimes committed. Civil matter only.)
10:14 a.m. — Leland Township — Three people stepped and put hand prints in new cement. Elmer’s has to tear up section now. Has them on camera.
5:45 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Child attacking wife. Destroying property. Was in possession of scissors and pruners. Have been taken away. History of violent behavior.
Thursday, May 19
6:51 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Two horses in the road at the end of Sunnyview Road. (Law enforcement thoroughly patrolled the area. Unable to locate horses.)
6:35 p.m. — Leland Township — In a boat. Mother broke ligaments in fingers.

7:14 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject is upset that his neighbor is pounding a hammer.
Saturday, May 21
12:33 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Assault taking place between caller and his cousin. Punched caller in the face.
Sunday, May 22
12:53 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male walking around in a circle acting strange. He’s wearing a tie-dye shirt with sweatpants. (Law enforcement found the male who is “on the spectrum.”)
9:50 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone shooting constantly at the fun range. (No one at range.)

2:28 p.m. — Solon Township — Neighbor sprayed trees and garden with Roundup. Caller wants a picture taken of his tree in this front yard so he can replace it with a new one.
Thursday, May 26
1:06 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — There is a truck at a house that is being built. The truck is backed in and there are two people with flashlights going through the house. (Per law enforcement, everything checks out. This guy is doing drywall at odd hours. Caller has been advised of situation.)
12:32 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Neighbor is installing a sprinkler system and they keep coming onto caller’s property after they were asked not to. (Civil dispute over property line.)
Friday, May 27
6:26 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Suspicious bag in the parking lot. Camo duffle bag. Unknown who put it there. No one has touched it or looked inside.
4:53 p.m. — Leland Township — Found wallet at Schneider’s Beach. Went to drop wallet to owner’s address but no one was home.
9:06 p.m. — Centerville Township — Dead cow in water at the beach. (It’s not a cow. It was a deer that lost all its hair, per law enforcement.)
11:08 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Suspicious vehicle. (Just taking pictures of the stars, per ranger.)

4:47 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject is lying on cement. Teenage girls standing around. Adult on ground. (Unable to locate.)
8:48 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was driving from Suttons Bay to Peshawbestown and passenger side window shattered. Caller thinks that it might have been a rock thrown.

1:42 a.m. — Leland Township — House somewhere around caller’s is playing loud music. (Law enforcement unable to locate source of the noise. Very faint. Caller called back to advise she does not need to have contact.)
7:25 p.m. — Centerville Township — Two black cows on the side of the road in front of the winery.
9:27 p.m. — Bingham Township — Male walking along M-22 all day. He’s acting weird. Doesn’t seem in his right mind. Wearing red sweater and khaki pants. (Unable to locate subject.)
11:53 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Seven individuals at the Dune Climb. (People out watching stars.)

7:23 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller’s 14-year-old son received a text message with a nude photo from a random number.
