Wednesday, Feb. 22
2:39 pm. — Bingham Township — Weird message in the online reservation system targeting family members.
6:15 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Man was walking. Wearing all black lightweight clothing. Early 20s. Asked if he needed assistance and he said “No.” But he’s still out walking seemingly without a clear destination.
Thursday, Feb. 23
12:28 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller received a call from Lonestar Energy. They informed her that someone used her personal information to open an account and she would need a police report for them to address it.
10:59 p.m. — Bingham Township — Silver Volvo running for over an hour. Caller believes the occupant is passed out.

8:30 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.
Sunday, Feb. 26
12:20 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Female neighbor next door got into a fight with a visitor.
8:42 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller heard bumps on the side of his house twice last night. Went out and investigated and saw footprints on the side of the house. Doesn’t want to see anybody. Just wants it noted.
3:24 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone has dumped a bunch of tree waste near caller’s unoccupied rental. Caller would like it checked out.
Monday, Feb. 27
9:51 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller needs a deputy to come look at her phone because it has been hacked. AT&T advised her to call the police.
Wednesday, March 1
5:32 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller had an appointment and is unable to get in touch with the homeowner. Caller is concerned the lady is injured. Would like a welfare check. Lights are on but no one is answering the door. (Contact made. She will be contacting the caller.)
Thursday, March 2
1:53 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbor has been snowed in for two days and her car hasn’t moved. No one has gone up to the door because of the snow. (Contact made. No assistance needed.)
1:59 p.m. — Kasson Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.
4:35 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller’s dad said the house smelled funny. Would like the house checked. (No CO2 detected.)
Friday, March 3
11:33 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller is receiving threats and is looking for guidance as to what the next steps should be.
10:01 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller was hung up shortly after answering. Nothing on the other end of the line. Dispatch tried to call back twice with no answer and no answer on text. (Response on text advised caller’s son was playing with the phone and there is no emergency.)
Saturday, March 4
11:52 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Citizen approached with a found wallet. (Wallet return. All cash accounted for.)
11:58 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller tried to contact male several times and there is no answer. He is usually very prompt getting back to her. (He is doing fine per law enforcement.)
Sunday, March 5
6:13 p.m. — Bingham Township — Subject left his home in Chicago this morning and caller hasn’t heard from them. Would like law enforcement to go by their address and see if they’ve arrived. The were driving a gray Cadillac SUV. (Caller called back. One of his parents neighbors spotted parents at the home He has spoken with them and all is well.)
Monday, March 6
12:32 p.m. — Bingham Township — Sub-contractor asked for a wire payment. Never received.
5:44 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller believes a truck has been broken into.
Wednesday, March 8
4:13 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Teenagers have a basketball hoop blocking half the road. (Law enforcement drove down the entire road. No basketball hoops in roadway or near driveway.)
6:44 p.m. — Empire Township — Older male teenager with longer hair on the side of the road.
Thursday, March 9
4:50 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller, 15, said she was talking to her friend who said there was a lot of arguing in the house and threats from her step-father. (Verbal only. Will be taking juvenile to Munson for voluntary commitment.)
5:38 p.m. — Leland Township — Someone used caller’s Social Security number to file a federal tax return.
Friday, March 10
10:47 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller and his wife got into an argument and he wants it documented. Caller does not need medical attention. Both parties have been drinking. No weapons. (One taken into custody.)
11:08 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Group of males pulled into caller’s driveway. She heard a couple loud thuds hit the house. She went out to confront them and they took off. When she went inside, they came back and threw something at the house again and yelled at her. Two eggs hit the house. (No damage. But it will need to be cleaned up.)
Saturday, March 11
1:05 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller reports her finance’s fishing lures were stolen from her uncle’s pole barn next door. Fiancee passed away six weeks ago. Could have been taken any time since then.
7:42 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller would like welfare check on 14-year-old female. She is with her mother. They had an argument and mother took way cell phone and house phones. Caller hasn’t been able to talk to his daughter. Welfare check requested. (Law enforcement spoke with mom and daughter. She is fine.)
Sunday, March 12
12:34 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports a loud banging on the door. It was loud enough to wake his wife. Caller searched the front porch and windows but did not see anything. Does not need to be seen but would like the area checked. The person just returned and banged on the window. Caller couldn’t tell if it was a younger or older male. Brown hair, dark clothes running north. Caller advised there could be two of them. Caller is up and looking through the window. (Law enforcement stopped to speak with him.)
7:22 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Person went to check on the water heater which is under the house. She advised it smelled funny and when she looked under the house she noticed what looked like a dead body. (State Police trooper investigated and determined it was unfounded.)
Monday, March 13
9:47 a.m. — Centervlle Township — Girl threatening daughter at school.
6:23 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Boyfriend stole out of caller’s safe.
Wednesday, March 15
10:57 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.
11:37 a.m. — Solon Township — Traffic violation involving a bus. Called in by school.
12:11 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is power of attorney for her father. Wants to speak to an officer about lawyers that are scamming him. (Law enforcement spoke with caller and gave him options.)
7:33 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller reports dog has been coming into the yard. Ongoing problem. Caller believes the dog lives on Hlvaka Road. Young, male Mastiff with white chest. Caller can’t get close enough. Dog has wandered off since the caller came in to call.
Thursday, March 16
5:27 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller scammed out of two $500 gift cards.
9:23 p.m. — Bingham Township — Couple was fighting and show up at caller’s residence then took off on foot. Both have been drinking. (Female indicated the altercation was between she and her cousin. Nothing physical happened. She is refusing assistance.
10:55 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Neighbor came over yelling at her claiming caller’s dog had killed their chicken. Caller left her residence for the night but wanted to speak with the animal control officer to go over options.
Monday, March 20
7:29 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Yellow Lab has been roaming around caller’s house for the last couple weeks. Sometimes with a Husky.
Thursday, March 23
10:26 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.
12:38 p.m. — Bingham Township —Subject received a laptop and monitor from caller by mail. Caller is requesting equipment be returned as subject is no longer with the company (Civil matter per law enforcement).
5:35 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller tried to log into an online retirement account. Pop-up to please contact as account has been suspended. Believes money was wired but stopped before anything was taken. Bank advised caller to contact law enforcement.
Friday, March 24
10:32 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Truck following caller. At Peterson Park watching for northern lights. People had all their lights on. Verbal argument about their having lights on. Truck was all decked out in LED lights.
Saturday, March 25
7:32 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Male and female arguing about a wallet.
8:54 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Malicious destruction of property. Tires slashed.
Monday, March 27
2:09 a.m. — Solon Township — Subject got a call from his brother that roommate is beating him up.
9:23 a.m. — Solon Township — Dogs at large. Killed two chickens last night at approximately

11:37 a.m. — Solon Township — Fraud complaint. Misunderstanding. Subject will return the money.
10:05 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Brother spoke with subject yesterday but usually talks to him daily. It appears that he has been home all day but not responding to phone calls or text messages.

2:16 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller’s bank account and computer were hacked.
10:29 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller owns a rental property in Empire. Last tenants have destroyed the house.
Saturday, April 1
12:56 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller is reporting sightings of a “handful of flashlights” around the Consumers substation.
2:21 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller noticed a big green flash outside and then all the lights on the east side of the road are out.
9:02 a.m. — Empire Township — Audi repossessed.
Sunday, April 2
10:27 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller lives on a cul-de-sac. There’s a truck parked across the street from his house for the past three hours.

7:34 p.m. — Empire Township — Repossession of a Volkswagen Tiguan.

4:25:48am 4/5/2023 911 Hangup N Manitou Trl., Sounds like phone trouble, same on callback but line keeps disconnecting. Walked around the building, doesn't look like anyone is home.
10:26 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male showed up in a red truck. Rang doorbell and then went around the side of the house.
1:23 p.m. — Bingham Township — Male walking along the roadway. Appears confused. Carrying a plastic bag.
2:26:17pm 4/5/2023 Info S West-Bay Shore Dr., Individual set off emergency door alarm, got into verbal altercation with a few guests.
Thursday, April 6
2:04 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Boyfriend took caller’s car keys. (Woman offered a couple of options.)
6:58 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller hasn’t been at house in three months. Has strong smell of sulfur in the bathrooms. Possible gas leak.
Friday, April 7
12:10 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller requests a welfare check on woman who came into bank in downtown Traverse City and asked for a wire transfer. Staff suspects fraud.
1:46 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Two men selling Omaha steaks. Still in trailer park. Came to caller’s trailer and yelled at her. Gray/tan Sierra truck.
Saturday, April 8
7:25 p.m. — Leland Township — Missing juvenile, 14. Missing from beach. Wearing a black hoodie with sweatpants and white Nike shoes. (Caller received text from former spouse advising their daughter was with him at his house in Leland.)
9:40 p.m. — Empire Township — Neighbor and his girlfriend are making so much noise that caller can’t sleep. Caller needs to go to church in the morning. (“Unique” neighbor noises have ceased on arrival. Caller advised to contact her landlord since there is no noise ordinance.)
Sunday, April 9
3:58:49pm 4/9/2023 Beak Enter Leland, Storage unit has been broken into. Been within the last week. Damage to unit, doesn’t think anything is missing. Door and lock are broken.
6:52 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor has been shooting off what sounds like a semi-automatic weapon for the last 15 minutes. Five or six shots at a time. (Neighbor sighting in new rifle. Everything legal per law enforcement.)
10 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller received a text from daughter, 13, saying that her dad was upset with her as well as started breaking toys. Caller is now unable to reach anyone at the address and also has other daughters there. (Mother misunderstood and later learned that it was siblings fighting over chores.)

12:23:07pm 4/11/2023 Motor Assist S West-Bay Shore Dr., Called out by 45-18, assisting with an oversized load. They were moving a tiny house and had 2 tires blow out. Making repairs well off the roadway.
3:42:51pm 4/11/2023 Larceny Bingham Twp., Stainless steel box for pickup stolen from caller's end of lane, off the road 10 feet. Caller and neighbors use it for UPS packages.
Wednesday, April 12
7:48 a.m. — Leland Township — Child, 8, riding bike with pink helmet, backpack. Can’t handle bike.
12:07:37pm 4/12/2023 Road Hazard E Cherry Bend Rd., Cleaning up ditches, blowing leaves into road and vacuuming them on road, which caller feels is dangerous without any caution signs. No crews working in the area.
Thursday, April 13
2 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone is trying to blackmail caller through Messenger. Does not know who it is.
10:23:14am 4/13/2023 Welfare Check Leelanau Cty., Has missed yesterday and today of work, tried calling several times, concerned for wellbeing. Negative transport, will probably not make it into work tonight.
5:03:49pm 4/13/2023 Info Leelanau Cty., Left a safe and a few other things at the end of the driveway for free. Safe is off-white, similar dimensions, keys were inside. Doesn’t want it back but wanted to call due to the inquiry about a safe found.
7:57:34pm 4/13/2023 Animal Control Lost Leelanau Cty., White goat with a leash on it wandered into callers backyard.
Friday, April 14
12:34 p.m. — Kasson Township — Retail fraud. Subject shoplifting on camera.
1:47 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Two domestic rabbits suddenly taken ill and died quickly. Caller thinks it’s suspicious.
2:25 p.m. — Empire Township — Small bag of drugs in caller’s driveway.
3:53 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller thinks someone broke into his garage while he was away for the winter. Doesn’t need a report but would like to speak with a deputy.
Saturday, April 15
1:42:38pm 4/15/2023 Larceny S West-Bay Shore Dr., 4 inch corner finisher taken from job site between Monday and Thursday.
9:31 p.m. — Leland Township — Man screaming at a child. (Contact made with all parties. No kids involved.)
Sunday, April 16
4:49 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller was walking on the beach and a man wearing a hoodie followed her. When she began running, he also started running in her direction.
7:19 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller states son went skateboarding around 2 p.m. and has not returned home since. (Son is back home and OK.)
Monday, April 17
8:22 a.m.— Bingham Township — Juvenile trying to jump out of car.
3:46 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Northport/ Leelanau Township meeting held this morning at 10. No notice given per Open Meetings Act.
5:46 p.m. — Solon Township — Someone came up caller’s driveway twice, to put a lemon on a vehicle. Someone put a whole lemon near windshield wipers.
Thursday, April 20
3:56:08am 4/20/2023 Suspicious Person N West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller is reporting a man walking on the road northbound on the shoulder of the southbound lane. Caller thought it was odd for this time of morning.
5:28 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone in the bathroom that shouldn’t be there. (No one in the bathroom anymore.)
8:24 p.m. — Bingham Township — Man laying in the field unresponsive. Caller tried nudging his foot and calling out to him. He’s not responding but is breathing.
Friday, April 21
11:15:35am 4/21/2023 Animal Control Leland Twp., Dog is going to the bathroom in her yard, she would like someone to talk to neighbor about dog being at large.
5:03 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Someone took out a loan in caller’s name and purchased a car in January. Caller was advised by Credit Bureau to file a police report.
7:09 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor likes to blow leaves on caller’s lawn. Put up a fence and he blows them under the fence.

8:47 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Illegal camping on Miller Hill.
11:22 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Three vehicles. Violation of the Controlled Substance Act.

3:58 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Office smells of marijuana and security found a joint rolled up with cigarettes.
Monday, April 24
10:25 p.m. —Elmwood Township — Vehicle, possibly a truck, has been sitting near caller’s house for over 20 minutes. Caller thinks it’s suspicious and would like to check it out.
Tuesday, April 25
1:30 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone is opening front door and then closing it. Dog is barking as well.
10:49:51am 4/25/2023 Motor Assist E Government Center Dr., Caller reported a truck lost a lot of material on the roadway, people directing traffic and trying to pick it up. Able to clean up material and put it back.
10:44:31pm 4/25/2023 Noise Leelanau Cty., Park is closed and there are a lot of people there making noise.
11:34:57pm 4/25/2023 Suspicious Vehicle Leelanau Cty., Large dark truck has been sitting in front of the caller's room for about 2.5 hours. The truck is running with two people sitting inside listening to music and the exhaust from the truck is going into their room.

9:59 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Man and his dog burning a brush pile in the parking lot of the kayak launch.
11:12 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Disorderly employee being uncooperative. Refusing sobriety tests and PBT. (Taken into custody.)
6:58 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Male came up to caller’s window. Had a black hood on. (Subject identified. Trespassed from property.)

2:13 p.m. —Elmwood Township — Individual in back of the building. He trespassed earlier this week. Black hoodie.
Saturday, April 29
7:43:09am 4/29/2023 Suspicious Incident Leelanau Twp., Continually harassed for 2 years. Thinks something hit the siding last night, happened before. Can see rubber shot from air pistol.
7:53 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Subject received a call two hours ago from a friend saying that she was scared and someone had beaten her up. (One taken into custody.)
Sunday, April 30
1:46 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject is being bullied at school.
3:16 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller had a garage sale and believes someone passed a counterfeit $5 bill.
6:15 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Child caller saying inappropriate things to dispatch. Juveniles were spoken to about misuse of 911. Parents will handle the discipline from here.
Monday, May 1
9:23 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Tenant issues. Handwritten threats.
10:45 a.m. — Solon Township — Twenty cattle in field. Not fenced in. (Officer met with owner and cows are now contained.)

6:14:02pm 5/2/2023 Citizen Assist Bingham Twp., Caller lives in Virginia and recently listened to a podcast that occurred in 2022. Stated in the podcast he held his wife down and believed he gave her bruises. Caller found this concerning.

9:06:08pm 5/6/2023 Threat S West-Bay Shore Dr., Prom at this location, a couple of seniors who didn’t buy tickets are showing up and making threats, 2 seniors were denied entry, became belligerent, swearing and threatening to slash tires, parents just arrived and they are causing a confrontation at the door. Parent has entered the building and is refusing to leave.
