Weekly Dispatch Blotter Highlights: Issue #17/#18
Every week, Leelanau county’s (where our cabin is located) weekly newspaper, Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.
These are all real calls.
Note: Last week’s court blotter was thin so I combined it with this week's.
Wednesday, Nov. 18
8:06 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Man walked into a house. Mid-30s. Black sweats. Now walking on the road. He is completely confused. Subject does not want to talk with EMS personnel. They will keep an eye on him and wait for law enforcement. Subject located in an orchard.
3:36 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — White Pontiac SUV swerving all over the roadway. Callers honked at them and the driver flipped them off.
Thursday, Nov. 19
7:16 a.m. — Empire Township — Harassment. Patient is sending threatening letters to employees.
