Weekly Dispatch Blotter Highlights: Issue #24 Woman screaming
Every week, Leelanau county’s (where our cabin is located) weekly newspaper, Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.
These are all real calls.

Wednesday, Jan. 6
12:17 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports a couple people on property. Believes they are juveniles. Law enforcement made contact with caller and looking around the house for tracks. No tracks evident. No signs or tracks or anything suspicious around clearing.
1:16 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Threats.
Thursday, Jan. 7
12:07 p.m. — Solon Township — Suspicious incident.
1:09 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller needs help getting husband dressed.
4:25 p.m. —Bingham Township — Ice fisherman is on the ice laying down. (He is fine now. Moving around.)
Friday, Jan. 8
12:50 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller rented a house located in Traverse City. But the house is not for rent. It is for sale. Caller put down deposit two weeks ago. Bank will not help them get the money back.
3:30 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Unwanted person on site.
Saturday, Jan. 9
11:06 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Found Indiana driver’s license and credit card. Caller will mail items to the address on Monday.
11:57 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller unwell from alcohol.
9:12 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Couple was physically violent but not anymore. No injuries. Parties are walking away. Caller doesn’t think the male in injured — just mad. Female taken into custody.
9:57 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone is driving by. Stopped on the road and shone a light in the house. Then moved on. Caller just wants it noted because it made uncomfortable.
Sunday, Jan. 10
2:43 p.m. — Bingham Township — Drone flying over property. Caller was advised to call if they see it again. Caller decided to talk to drone operator on their own.
7:05 p.m. — Kasson Township — Ex-husband says he will pick daughter up from school tomorrow and it’s not his week. Caller has court documents.
Tuesday, Jan. 12
6:55 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Woman screaming.
