Weekly Dispatch Blotter Highlights: Issue #36 Woman taking videos of kids outside
Throbbing Cabin is located in Leelanau County whose local weekly newspaper, the Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.
These are all real calls.
(Ed. All spelling errors and grammatical mistakes left in place.)
News from the county:
In an article today on the need for workers this upcoming tourist season, many places are offering competitive wages and benefits.
Except for a harbormaster in Northport:
“Northport harbormaster Bill Rosemurgy is looking for dock attendants. But he’s hoping to attract candidates who want more from their summer job than monetary compensation.
“’We’ll have trouble getting enough because the pay is not as good as other places,’ he said.
“’We’re talking about high school students and we can’t offer any benefits such as free golf. But we can help give them a good understanding of boats.’”
Better hurry up and apply.
