Weekly Dispatch Blotter Highlights: Issue #38 Neighbor’s dog keeps pooping in caller’s yard
Throbbing Cabin is located in Leelanau County whose local weekly newspaper, the Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.

Wednesday, April 21
2:18 a.m. — Leland Township — Female states her boyfriend is drunk. “It was a bad night, but nothing serious happened.” Verbal only.
6:56 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Female, 15, refuses to go to school.
4:01 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Someone took employees coat that had car keys in it during the baby food pantry. (Coat was returned to rightful owner.)
5 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Several people inside house. No one will come to door. Female ran out residence. Subject in custody.
12:21 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller would like to file a report because people are making false claims against her. Civil issue.
Thursday, April 22
12:38 a.m. — Empire Township — Male in caller’s driveway in a black truck. States he doesn’t know where he is or why he’s here. Male left driving toward 72. Stopped on sobriety. One in custody.
10:32 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Lost small brown terrier. Several people looking for the dog.
4:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller has a photo of an evicted subject at the garage of house. Not supposed to be on the property.
5:46 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Daughter came over and advised her stepgrandmother pushed her.
7:16 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Drunk neighbor came over and started cursing at caller. Shouting vulgarities at caller’s son in the yard.
Friday, April 23
11:27 a.m. — Solon Township — Neighbor’s dog keeps pooping in caller’s yard.
6:23 p.m.— Cleveland Township — Caller’s son was trying to get his kayak back to shore and caller lost cell connection with him. (Caller called back and advised his son made it to shore and he is fine.) Called back and advised she thinks her son is not telling her the truth and she thinks he may need some help. (Called back a second time and advised her son is fine and made it to Port Oneida.)
Saturday, April 24
3:31 p.m. — Solon Township — Two vehicle accident at Co. Rd. 651 and M-72. No injuries.
4:48 p.m. — Solon Township — Three vehicle accident at Co. Rd. 651 and M-72. No injuries.
Sunday, April 25
10:51 a.m. — Elmwood Township —Charcoal gray Audi pulled out in front of him on Cherry Bend from animal hospital. Continued to”brake” caller. They looked as though they were recording caller from their phone. Would like to speak with officer.
5:52 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Older man was asleep in Black Chevy sedan. Subject was traveling all day and was just trying to find somewhere to sleep. No signs of intoxication.
Monday, April 26
7:28 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller lives on private drive. Reports a dark truck pulled in the driveway around the back to the garage. Backed out and left.
10:28 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is afraid to go upstairs because all the windows are covered with dark curtains. No lights on stairs. Caller would like assistance going in so they can change locks. Caller is the leaseholder and those people have no right to go inside.
2:36 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Head of trust states that the locks on the building have been changed. Both females left. It’s a civil issue.
Don’t be an ass. Wear a damned mask. Unless you’re fully vaxxed but don’t be stupid.
