Throbbing Cabin is in Leelanau County whose local weekly newspaper, the Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.

Wednesday, May 5
3:52 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller says there’s an animal outside of tent. Can hear footsteps around the tent but the animal is refusing to leave. Caller is wanting assistance getting to the car. (Made it to the car while on phone.)
3:20 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Private property signs tore out and thrown in woods. Ongoing problem.
Thursday, May 6
10:26 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dog running loose at the North Park boat launch. Black with white paws. Spoke to owner and she is currently at work. Dog is north of the M-204 intersection.
9:38 p.m. — Empire Township — Caller was approached by an individual looking for two kids on bikes that should have returned home and have not yet. (Both children returned.)
11:23 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller was watching the sunset on Van’s Beach around 8 p.m. Son, age 25, has not returned. (Arrived home safely.)
Friday, May 7
7:03 a.m. — Leland Township—Graffiti.
10:54 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller asked to speak to animal control office regarding a cat, possibly in neighbor’s house that needs to be trapped and taken out. Caller was referred to private animal control for trapping.
2:30 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller received a vulgar email.
4:12 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Assistance needed with child removal.
6:50 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s sister was bit by dog. Went to the hospital and reported the bite but wants to ensure that animal control is aware of the situation since the dog is still on the property.
Saturday, May 8
3:52 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller found bones while mushrooming. (Deer bones.)
9:44 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller is reporting a male in “modern black muscle car” is terrorizing the streets driving aggressively. Revving the engine for about an hour.
Sunday, May 9
12:15 a.m. — Solon Township — SUV drove through neighbor’s driveway. Caller finds it suspicious and would like it checked out.
Monday, May 10
1:31 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Argument going on outside condos.
8:34 a.m. — Leland Township — Vehicle drive-off of $52.31. Happened between 8:10 and 8:15 a.m. Female driver, 5’6”. Black jacket/pants/shoes. Saturn Outlook SUV. Gray in color.
Tuesday, May 11
3:33 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports a party going on. Minors in possession.
Don’t be an ass. Wear a damned mask. Unless you’re fully vaxxed but don’t be stupid.
