Weekly Dispatch Blotter Highlights: Issue #45 “Baby momma” will not step away from the vehicle
Throbbing Cabin is in Leelanau County whose local weekly newspaper, the Leelanau Enterprise, publishes the dispatch calls to 911. These are the highlights.

Wednesday, June 9
3:42 p.m. — Empire Township — Minors in possession.
5:19 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — At 9 p.m. Tuesday caller’s brother got too close to family. Disrespecting boundaries regarding caller’s health concerns. Began yelling and pointing fingers.
3:34 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller sees a hole in her tent. Thinks there may be an animal inside the tent. Now walking back to her car. (No animal was found.)
1:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller was approached by a subject who was upset about a letter. Accused the caller of sending it. Caller doesn’t know what she is talking about.
5:41 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Golf cart and charger taken from residence. Caller still in possession of the key. Last seen this morning.
7:13 p.m. — Leland Township — Supervisor told caller to report every time there is activity on the lake that is too loud or going on too long. There are volleyball nets on the lake in front of Clay Cliffs and a boat is anchored there playing loud music since 2 p.m. The music is too loud for the caller to sit on his deck.
8:20 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports neighbor is cutting his trees to better their view. He would like them to be spoken to.
Friday, June 11
2:28 p.m. — Kasson Township — Electrical panel tampering and graffiti inside the women’s restroom.
4:10 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Disorderly person.
Saturday, June 12
11:10 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Woman was in last week. They suspected her of stealing and confirmed it on surveillance cameras. Woman was there earlier today.
11:39 a.m. — Leland Township — Two vehicles parking in clearly marked “no parking” zone.
Sunday, Jun 13
12:38 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Indiana female, 14, wearing bracelets stolen yesterday. She was here on vacation with a family friend. Came back and caller saw bracelets on wrist. She admitted and returned five bracelets. Caller doesn’t want charges. Deputy will speak to her mother.
10:38 p.m. — Empire Township — Female has been screaming and crying for the last five minutes. Caller believes she is fighting with someone.
Monday, June 14
12:26 a.m. — Centerville Township — Someone is stalking caller’s home. A gentleman in a green Jeep followed caller off the lake and her husband confronted him. He accused caller’s cousin of following him which they were not. Subject left southbound.
2:37 a.m. — Centerville Township — Threats.
9:05 a.m. — Centerville Township — Violation of controlled substance law.
8:59 p.m. — Cleveland Township — “Baby momma” will not step away from the vehicle. Caller is inside his vehicle. Currently in a custody battle. (Both parties advised to go to court and get this settled by a judge.)
9:07 p.m. — Solon Township — Someone is walking through the yard, cutting strings and saying it is his property. (Civil property line issue. Both parties given a verbal warning for trespassing.)
Don’t be an ass. Wear a damned mask. Unless you’re fully vaxxed but don’t be stupid.
