10:27am 8/29/2023 Building Check Lake Leelanau, Red door on the building is ajar, noticed it yesterday and it is still ajar today.

Wednesday, Aug. 30

9:21 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Utility workers in woman’s yard are destroying her hostas.

7:32 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone left a walker on the side of the gallery.

10:36pm 8/30/2023 Gunshots N West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller advised he was in a ditch on the side of the road and could hear gunshots to the north of him.

Thursday, Aug. 31

6:06pm 8/31/2023 Animal Control Lake Leelanau, Neighbor’s dogs are constantly barking. Has a 47 minute long video of them barking.

Friday, Sept. 1

8:17am 9/1/2023 Fire Gas Leak Cedar, Caller reports sulfer-like rotten egg smell outside, said kids noticed it about 10 minutes ago.

1:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Male about 6 feet tall walking with a red dog leash in his hand. Dog is next to him.

2:41 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Large, pink or orange flamingo inflatable floating out in Sleeping Bear Bay. Unoccupied. Just wanted emergency services to know in case anyone calls and thinks someone is in trouble. It just got away from owners.

4:40 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller has been working. Came home to find evidence that the dogs have been in the yard again.

5:21 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Two subjects sitting with beers and a bong.

10:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — String of lights in the sky going over the water.

10:15 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports 19 stars across the horizon north to south in a row and then disappeared.

10:18 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller is in an Airbnb. Vehicle came toward them and stopped and shut off lights.

Saturday, Sept. 2

6:32 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Two persons sleeping in a vehicle. Illegal camping.

6:45 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Two younger males sitting over the edge of the rail of the bridge and a younger one running down the road toward them.

6:49 p.m. — Empire Township — Disorderly person.

11:22 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Loud music and people shouting and screaming.

11:23 p.m. — Leland Township — Music playing since 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 3

3:06 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — People fighting at caller’s house.

Monday, Sept. 4

1:49am 9/4/2023 Welfare Check Leelanau Twp., The house to the east of the caller has an outdoor light that was flashing.

12:23 p.m. — Leland Township — Assisting with a group of disgruntled passengers.

12:35pm 9/4/2023 Missing Person E Cherry Bend Rd., Family took on a day trip without signing out.

Tuesday, Sept. 5

9:56pm 9/5/2023 Citizen Assist Lake Leelanau, Caller can see a drone hovering near her house and houses in the neighborhood.

Wednesday, Sept. 6

8:34 a.m. — Empire Township — Neighbors guinea fowl and peacocks are coming onto property.

8:57am 9/6/2023 Larceny Suttons Bay Twp., Caller was at a wedding on Saturday and his wife had medications in her purse and they were taken.

Thursday, Sept. 7

1:45 p.m. — Leland Township — Elderly gentleman stung by bees.

5:24 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Subject pulling out into traffic without looking and yielding to oncoming traffic. Sometimes he’s on his tractor other times its a four-wheeler.

9:57 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller was hearing various noises.

Friday, Sept. 8

8:07 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Two poodles came out of electric fence and attacked caller’s dog.

8:25am 9/8/2023 Suspicious Person Lake Leelanau, Suspicious person hiding between cars, possibly placed tracker on vehicle.

9:16pm 9/8/2023 Noise Northport, Young people next door are playing their bass too loud.

Saturday, Sept. 9

8:29am 9/9/2023 Citizen Assist S West-Bay Shore Dr., Paid a painting contractor, has since been ghosted.

1:29pm 9/9/2023 Animal Control Maple City, Buck has fabric tangled in his antler and it has a long piece trailing behind it.

Sunday, Sept. 10

9:38 a.m. — Bingham Township — Employee fired yet continues to harass the caller, his wife and the customer.

10:55am 9/10/2023 Suspicious Incident Glen Arbor Twp., Camera on edge of the property pointing at caller's property. Camera hidden up in the tree.

7:44pm 9/10/2023 Suspicious Person Leelanau Cty., Man laying in his back in the bushes.

Monday, Sept. 11

9:13 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Goat in the roadway.

1:18 p.m.— Centerville Township — Three cattle near the road.

1:28pm 9/11/2023 Lost Property Suttons Bay, Lost hearing aids outside the VI Grille.
