8:59am 10/10/2023 Animal Control Elmwood Twp., Reporting cattle at farm are mulling around the yard, not quite in the road yet.
5:52pm 10/10/2023 Neighbor N West-Bay Shore Dr., Caller was out field sampling for grape harvest, neighbor and his wife came out yelling obscenities.
Thursday, Oct. 12
11:05 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Person was terminated. Caller is concerned about a confrontation.
11:35 a.m. — Leland Township — Guitar case taken from the back of caller’s vehicle.
1:27 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Boyfriend was cleaning. He was woozy in his closet.
Friday, Oct. 13
8:58 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller thinks someone has been taking and driving her vehicle.
3:01 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Litter thrown from bus. Student was spoken with.
Saturday, Oct. 14
11:20 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller fell in a kitchen.
Sunday, Oct. 15
1:40am 10/15/2023 Suspicious Incident Suttons Bay, Heard noise at midnight, checked and did not see anyone, heard pounding again on glass door just now.
8:12 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Dogs attacking chickens. Three killed. One of the dogs was a large huskie.
1:21 p.m. — Two horses running across Co. Rd. 641.
Monday, Oct. 16
7:56 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller had paint thrown on back deck, back sidewalk. Second time this has happened.
4:10pm 10/16/2023 Assist Department N West-Bay Shore Dr., Be on lookout for suspect in larceny at casino.
Tuesday, Oct. 17
11:16 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Oven on fire.
1:45 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Distressed woman yelling profanities in front of market.
Wednesday, Oct. 18
12:52 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone hit caller’s car in the courthouse parking lot.
1:36 p.m. — Kasson Township — Threats and intimidation.
1:55 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller reports two trespassers on his property right now. They were in a red pickup truck and small, blue, car. Caller believes “they are thieves” and are taking extensive things out of caller’s garage. (Problem between two former roommates. One is moving out. Advised that property is disputed. Cleared up now, per law enforcement.)
4:10 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s daughter is upset because mom is searching her bag for the phone. Caller and daughter are arguing. Daughter is threatening to break things and hurt herself. (No physical assault. Parties will be separated. Mom will go to work. Another adult will stay with juvenile.)
4:14 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller wants to speak with an officer about her mother throwing her stuff out early Tuesday morning. (Caller was advised of her rights. She will be staying at a friend’s house tonight.)
8:42pm 10/18/2023 Suspicious Vehicle Lake Leelanau, Gray or green truck in the parking lot for the past hour, male came inside and made the clerk feel uncomfortable, they are closing soon and would like a deputy to respond. Subject is on his way, he was waiting in the parking lot for his child to get done with a birthday party, clear with no report.
Friday, Oct. 20
3:14 p.m.— Leelanau Township — Stolen handgun.
10:35 p.m. —Empire Township — Callers cannot find AirBnB location.
Saturday, Oct. 21
7:54 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle swerved completely off the road and hit tree. Someone trapped in vehicle; sobriety tests given; drunk driving arrest.
Sunday, Oct. 22
1:58 a.m. — Empire Township — Room next to caller has had loud voices there for hours.
Monday, Oct. 23
8:01 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Truck ran over pumps and fuel is leaking everywhere. (Crews responded. Cleanup complete.)
12:42pm 10/23/2023 MVCPP Northport, Someone hit her truck in the driveway.
