8:43 a.m. — Kasson Township Teachers request deputy to help with a “reluctant” second grader.

Thursday, Oct. 26

6:15 p.m. — Kasson Township Son was driving and went into the ditch.

Friday, Oct. 27

12:21 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Jail control called out that the bailiff was informed that someone brought a knife into court.

9:06 p.m. — Bingham Township Items sold online and her address is being listed.

11:59 p.m. — Leelanau Township Second night in a row, someone has driven into her driveway.

Saturday, Oct. 28

11:39am 10/28/2023 Larceny Leelanau Twp. Caller believes someone robbed him sometime after July 5th. 

1:42pm 10/28/2023 Road Hazard Leelanau Twp. Subject blowing leaves into the roadway, caller is concerned that a motorist or bicyclist will get into an accident. 

2:42 p.m. — Leelanau Township Nephew and aunt are arguing at the grocery store.

5:34pm 10/28/2023 Larceny Lake Leelanau Gentleman came in and took a pair of sweatpants.

10:52 a.m. — Leland Township Someone posed as Spectrum internet and told her she had an overdue bill.

4:55 p.m. — Leland Township Cows in roadway.

2:22am 11/1/2023 Trespassing N West-Bay Shore Dr. GTB07 called enroute to address for an unwanted disorderly female.

7:55am 11/1/2023 Car Animal S Good Harbor Trl. Caller was driving north, bear ran out and hit his car and ran off. Ford Ranger.

10:44am 11/1/2023 Suspicious Person Leland Twp. Caller saw an elderly gentleman pull up into her driveway and walk up to the front door, take a picture, and walk around the house.

10:33am 11/3/2023 Fraud Leelanau Twp. Missing 5 checks, cashed yesterday, one the day before.

1:56pm 11/4/2023 Suspicious Incident Cleveland Twp. Went out this morning, came back to arrow embedded in rock.

4:16pm 11/5/2023 Trespassing Bingham Twp. Says people are trespassing on her property and another hunter is there. 

Monday, Nov. 6

3:01pm 11/6/2023 Larceny Empire Twp. Caller reports that worker took several checks from the checkbook. 

3:49pm 11/6/2023 Fire Gas Leak Kasson Twp. Abandoned bank has smelled like chemicals the past couple of days. 

7:50pm 11/6/2023 Road Hazard Lake Leelanau Caller is reporting that he hit a coyote, his vehicle does not have damage but the coyote is still in the road.

8:05pm 11/6/2023 Car Animal Bingham Twp. Hit a coyote and did not initially think there was any damage but apparently there is.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

9:37am 11/7/2023 Citizen Assist Lake Leelanau Wife says that her husband left this morning to get car repaired and is not back yet.

10:10 a.m. — Centerville Township Driver is parked on the street. Tree fell on his trunk.

6:16pm 11/7/2023 Fire Structure Leland, Barn caught on fire yesterday from the lightning and burned to the ground, no one called. Barn is down to the ground and smoldering. Send the engine to throw some water on what is still smoldering. Will do a little clean up, putting out the hotspots, fire is out.

10:07 a.m. — Leelanau Township Corn cobs in the middle and across the road.

8:21pm 11/8/2023 Suspicious Incident Empire Twp. Believes there is someone in her car in driveway. 

9:38 p.m. — Leland Township “The owner of this Apple watch has been involved in a hard fall.”

9:19am 11/9/2023 Animal Control Centerville Twp. Animal at large, neighbor’s cows on his property.

Saturday, Nov. 11

12:26pm 11/11/2023 Animal Control Lost Cedar Missing yorkie wearing a green collar with bananas and a tag but the tag has the wrong phone number on it. 

Sunday, Nov. 12

3:55am 11/12/2023 Welfare Check Suttons Bay Twp. Reporter called 911 then stated, “Sorry, wrong number” then hung up. Suttons Bay Fire for transport.  

1:37pm 11/12/2023 Larceny Lake Leelanau Male came in to buy beer, credit card did not go through, walked out without paying.

Monday, Nov. 13

4:16am 11/13/2023 911 Hangup Bingham Twp. 2 911 calls, no one is on the line, no answer on callback. Older couple seems to be having trouble with their phone, trying to help them figure it out. 

9:02am 11/13/2023 Animal Control N West-Bay Shore Dr. Issues with neighbor’s dog defecating and not cleaning it up. 

11:34am 11/13/2023 Suspicious Incident Lutheran Cemetery, Lobby complaint, wants to report damage to grave markers and that a granite monument has been moved. 

8:09 p.m. — Bingham Township Deputy spoke with individual, advised him the vehicle needs to be moved tonight. The vehicle has been “stickered.”

9:07pm 11/13/2023 Suspicious Person S Center Hwy. Male in yard knocking on doors, husband is trying to talk to him and male states he wants to talk to the police.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

5:27pm 11/14/2023 MDOP Leland Youth was standing on side of road, threw a rock that hit their windshield. 

Wednesday, Nov. 15

1:36 p.m. — Leelanau Township Caller is building a house and there was a Nissan Titan dark in color on their property this morning. Caller believes the driver of the vehicle walked through their home currently under construction. Caller wants it noted that someone was parked on the side of her driveway this morning.

8:39 p.m. — Solon Township Mom came out of the bathroom and found her son with the phone. No emergencies.

Friday, Nov. 17

12:04am 11/17/2023 Citizen Assist S West-Bay Shore Dr. Would like to speak with an officer about corruption with MPS. Spoke with caller, it took a while to get him to understand but I told him that if he has a complaint against an LT in MSP he needs to go up the chain of command with MSP and there is nothing anyone at LLSH can do about it. 

4:29 p.m. — Bingham Township People stopped by to pick up a washer and dryer. It wasn’t for sale. Caller’s Facebook has been hacked.

Saturday, Nov. 18

8:34 a.m. — Solon Township Caller’s dad left on foot. He has dementia and not sure how long he’s been gone. (Caller called back. He had been located.)

2:26 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township Intoxicated subject in Dodge Neon approached caller’s vehicle and stated he was going to impeach … something political. Another car in there now.

7:25pm 11/18/2023 Scam Bingham Twp. Caller advised there are people at her residence who are there to pick up stuff they saw for sale on Facebook.

Monday, Nov. 20

2:56pm 11/20/2023 Scam Bingham Twp. Subject showed up at caller’s house to get a puppy that they bought off Facebook.
