Who are you using as a distributor? I don't think Ingram Spark will even let you set the discount less than 40% anymore.
Booksellers were telling me Ingram and the discount was $18.99 which is why I was selling my author copies at $10 to them. (My cost was $5.)

Yeah, that makes total sense! When I start publishing widely myself, eBook is the primary format!
